Achievement glitch?

Okay when I beat the kid mode I got a notice that said achievement unlock. At that exact moment the game briefly froze. Guess what I didn't get it. Hopefully a second play through fixes it.

Same thing happened to me for this achievement and the friend to the stars one where you get all the stars on the normal difficulty. I unlocked them but then they never showed on my achievement list/gamercard. I have gathered from this same forum that either another playthough or simply playing another GFWL game will fix the problem. I have been to lazy to replay it and don't have any other GFWL game myself so I have yet to resolve the problem. Considering I should be 200/200 I hope to eventually fix it.
