weapon attack power ? (am i missing something)

is there any advantage to putting attack power on every free spot on your weapon, i've got a beast of a weapon that i'm basically walking through the game (can solo most legend in under 30 seconds) until i just met a guy online there just now (and i felt like i've missed a trick)

so this is my weapon (not fully upgraded, and ignore the orbs)



now he has the same weapon (and we're both lu bu) ... but with an extra 205 attack, and his 4* bow has almost more attack than my 5* main weapon



so opinions i suppose, or how do i do it without grinding for hours for items

I presume he's just strengthened attack a lot, though I could be wrong.

your using the flex version of the weapon and he's using the power version.

pressing y at the equip screen cycles the weapons style

Guessed it was a mistake just not sure what way round, re reading my comment it makes me sound like a idiot

nah, in the screenshots rza has the flex version of the weapon showing which is lower atk but more orb slots,

the guy in second screenie has power equiped less slots more atk

i think the screenshots are him above guy hes comparing to below ?

yeh thanks for all the info, its mine at the top and his at the bottom.. it seems that when your on 'power' for the weapon, anything you add to it increases the attack (even defense etc) so i sacrifice 2 upgrade slots and 1 orb slot for 205 extra power... and since i can now take of attack and fury attack (as i'm sure they dont give me 205 attack) i'm not really losing anything

now if only i had realised that before i used all those items upgrading it in the first place
