Fatality trouble

Kinda disappointed with pulling them off so far. I've been playing these games since the 90s and they've never been this difficult. I mean I'm reasonably intelligent, so how hard can D D D 4 be? Anyone else having trouble?

Left and I can tell you there a pain.
My best advice for the others is to try it on both the DPAD and the Analog Stick. Sometimes one wont work but the other will. Also remember you have to be fast and I think some of the Fatality's have to be a certain distance away from the character (could be what's giving me so much trouble.

it pretty much depends on where you stand.
On a lot i found that a good distance is if you do an uppercut, and then get the 'Finish Him' it's a good distance.
On some in really doesn't matter tho

I'm curious about the classic mk stuff like holding block, does that work? Also the distance issue seems to be in this one since fatalities seem to only go off under the right situation. Currently I'm having trouble with the Jokers card one (b,d,b,f,y), anyone know the distance on it?

this one is done at a mid/close distance

do it with the joystick (so raiden doesnt jump) like snuggle said, at a close distance.

Fatalities is what set MK apart from its competition, I can't believe they made it so difficult to pull these off. It almost ruins this game for me.

Dude any help you wanna drop on us would be appreciated. Should we be using the Stick exclusively? I've tried all of the standard distances for Scorpions to no avail. DDD+B just shouldn't be as hard as it has been.

the fatality D, D, D, U, A from batman not works for me,not close at the enemy and not far.with the analog stick it not works too

i only used the stick on 3 of them which are:

Lex Luger U,U,U,X (mid/close)
Raiden D,F,D,U,Y (mid/close)
Wonder Woman U, B, D, F, X (just spin the stick counterclockwise starting up) (mid/far)

jea did that one pretty close if i remember correctly (only made notes on the one i had trouble with) , im sure i did that one with the d-pad. oh , and for that joker card fatality u have to stand at a close distance.

for 4 hours ive tried the jokers over n over n over n over. im not liken this at all.

Distance? Hold block? Speed of button mashing? Joystick? Dpad?

ok solidsnkae if u still have trouble with that batman fatality ive found a easy way to do it, just use the d-pad and hold LT while doing it. this could maybe also help u for your joker fatality

After hours of trying over and over i did it!

For all with joker trouble (b,d,b,f,y):

- gotta do it the fastest you can

- rite in front of opponent (close as you can)

- hold block / back / down / back / forward / let go of block / y
(block is the most efficient)

Ok, now I've seen a list of fatalities that were put out, but I can't pull them off. I see I'm not the only one. Can anyone put a list out there with a least the distance you need to be away from your opponent? I'm a Mortal Kombat vet, playing the originals, MK 1, 2 and 3 back in the day, but this one is very annoying trying to pull these off.

how does the game save what fatalities youve done? For instance, can i go into arcade and do a fatality in the first match with a character, then change characters for the second match and do one of their fatalities without it forgetting that I did the first characters fatalities?

the way i did batmans d,d,d,u,a fatality i used d-pad for d,d,d and quickly hit up on analog stick and A hopefully that helps

yes you can switch characters during arcade. just make sure you finish the arcade cuz it wont save if you quit out.

use joystick, LT trick, or RT trick posted above
