Is there still a multiplayer community ?

Hi I am thinking of buying me this game, because I want to play the third installment as well.

But I am wondering if there are still enough people out there to play the multiplayer / get the multiplayer achievements in this game.

Can somebody give me some impressions of the activity of the multiplayer community right now?

I haven't been online for it for a month but near the end of February there was a decent amount of mmm people on. I don't know if it was just from people getting ready for Infinite or what. But I'm sure there is a good portion of the people here that wouldn't mind an organized boosting session if you're looking to clean up some missed achievements.

this. i just started playing the other day, and i'm going to do all the single player stuff before the multiplayer and dlc achievements, but i'm sure even if thie community is dead, that will just make boosting easier (since they are all for public games anyways)

There do seem to be a few people playing it but don't be surprised if it takes several minutes to get a match going.

And be prepared for the dreaded shock/crossbow combo.

I played 4/5 matches in my first hour of playing this game, i just finished Bioshock 1 (bought 2 and infinite so i could get along with the world of Rapture)

By all means its hard to get a decent score as you play against a few level 40's and 50's and they use the shock/crossbow combo (which is a bastard!!)

I found that some of the games (most of) are pretty laggy too, not bad enough to not play but still pretty bad.

I just started playing it yesterday, there are still people playing Free For All and Team Deathmatch, not much for any other game times. I am interested in boosting if you are.

There's definitely a lot more people playing since Infinite came out, but that's still not many. Most people I've seen playing are either from here, from other achievement sites, or it's all they play and they're at the top of the leaderboards (someone I spoke with earlier was playing against the number 1 player in the world... screw that noise). I am noticing, though, a lot of newer players joining, so there's a ton of low levels trying to get in to Survival of the Fittest, Civil War or Capture the Sister matches. Finding the occasional Team ADAM Grab match, but there's basically no consistency for ADAM Grab, Last Splicer Standing, Kill 'Em Kindly, or Turf War (thought there was another mode... can't remember, I'm really only playing Civil War or Team ADAM Grab anyways).

I am currently level 40 and would be willing to help people boost in ADAM Grab hacking turrets over and over again. Looking to reach level 50. I already have all of the other multiplayer achievements and rebirth is the last one. If you are interested, shoot me a message on Live, my gamertag is my username, we need at least 4 people in the lobby for it to work and it can support a max of 6 people I think. I will be available on the weekend and possibly Thursday night.

Yeah as of 4/23/2013 there is still somewhat of an online community, but boy is it terribly unbalanced. The lvl 50's who still play this game piss me off royally!!! Especially when they use that Crossbow/electro shot combo and destroy the noobie achievement hunters like myself.

The scourge of MP gaming!

The game's MP is okay - you'll get games without too much of a wait most of the time. The DLC maps, however, are pretty dead - I think most people are having to boost them (still seems to be a reasonable amount of players - just a case of finding them).
