Does the achievement include the DLC maps because i don't have them downloaded and i've won one on each map but the achievo never popped. also i won some in deathmatch and some in standard. does that matter?

it shouldnt as I have it and only borrowed it from a friend, so no dlc....I guess try again and make sure youve got what the achievement guide says

"Again, easiest done on skirmish mode while going for "Playin' The Field" There are 14 different skirmish maps. 5 are 1v1, 6 are 2v2 and 3 are 3v3."

it gave me the achievo for completing the timeline but not for winning one on each map. do you think it was because i did half in deathmatch and half in standard?

could be but I dont know really, when I did it I pretty much followed the guide and did skirmish games (havent played in a long time so i really dont remember)
Ive just read elsewhere that deathmatch is fine
couldnt hurt to try though and go through all 14 original maps

another thing i did was play them all 1v1. perhaps i have to do the 2v2 maps in 2v2 and the 3v3 in 3v3.

I did them all 1v1 try looking at your service record to see if it says you've missed any and if you have redo that one and if not I can only suggest you start again
