where do you find all the characters

can anyone tell me where to find all the characters and how. thanks

Check your house in Paseo often, especially after reaching a new area. Also, if you press start to save the game in progress as opposed to saving in the save points throughout the game, the Ryuka spell will return you to your house when cast.

Every time you find a new town, enter it and use the teleport station to go to Paseo. When you go to Rolf's house, your new ally will be there.
