Modern Warfare 2 -- The Surgical question

Man, I've been trying to get the challenge "The Surgical" for sometime now so my question is -- If you die, do the enemy hits carry over or do you have to do it all in one life?

Is this the one where you have to empty a full clip of a smg/lmg/ar into a person without missing. If it is this is a rediculous challenge where you need to be lucky or boost it. Basically the easiest way to get it is by picking up a gun with only a few bullets in it. then make sure you hit the target with all of those bullets. Realistically it is impossible to get a hit with every single bullet in the gun, unless you boost it.

Yeah, that's the one but what I'm trying to ask is let's say you get 5 hits on an enemy, then you die, does it carry over or does it have to be done all on one life?

nope. it has to be the same life,same gun and i believe same clip, so dont reload.

if its like perfectionist you can reload within it, its just the number of shots.
other than that i don't know
