WMD Achievement - Missle Mastar Guide

After some frustration I managed to write a guide to help you get the WMD achievement by playing the Super Soviet Missle Mastar minigame. I'm not sure if many people are even having trouble with it but here it is anyway.

It takes 7 levels in order to get to 5000 Km.
I am assuming you can get past the first 2 levels without dying so this guide picks up at level 3.
Also, the game must be started from the menu in order for this guide to work and you cannot die, restart, and follow this guide. So if you die, exit the game then start it up again.

The numbers inidicate birds.

Level 3:
Start high to avoid the helicopter.
1. Go below the bird.
2. Above.

Level 4:
1. Above.
2. Below.
3. Below.
4. Below, but make sure to go up fast to hit the country.

Level 5:
1. Below.
2. Up, but watch the helicopter. Then go down fast because of another helicopter.
3. Below.

Level 6
1. Above.
2. Above.
3. Above, but watch the helicopter. Then stay up because of another helicopter.
4. Below. Then go middle because of helicopters.
5. Below.
6. Above. Then go down cause of helicopter and then up because of another helicopter.

Level 7
1. Below.


This should put you within about 500 Km from 5000 with all three lives. Hopefully you can make it from there. If you die during any of this, the rest of the guide doesn't apply.

Let me know if this helps, but with some luck and practice you'll get the achievement in no time.

Worked great but took a little while to get used to. It did get me to #16 on the all-time leaderboard though!

how do you actually unlock the mini-game to begin with? i beat the entire game on easy and replayed 1-5 on medium thinking that's where you're supposed to get it but this is the only mini-game that hasn't been unlocked yet.

Yeah, same with me. It's the only one I haven't unlocked... and I've completed all 3 modes. I've got 9/12 Achievements aswell. (Just need this, Head Chomps and Hats).

I unlocked it after completing 1-3. I have no idea how, but that's definitely where I got it. Maybe it's to do with the birds on the actual levels?

Anyway, thanks for the guide. I played like 10 round thinking you couldn't hit the clouds either, but then flew through one and realized you could. Needless to say it is a lot easier because of that.

It didn't tell me when this game unlocked. I played 1-4 on hard, checked it, and it was still locked, so i played 1-5 on hard, and after i beat that it was unlocked. I guess it's possible it unlocks when you first start 1-5 on hard. Who knows.

Now lets see if I can get this Missile Mastar achievement.

The difficulty setting does not matter.

Sweet guide!!! Helped me out alot!!!!

For people who cant unlock the mini game, load up another acount (eg. player 2) and beat the first area (urban) the game should unlock then load up your profile on another controler and you will be able to use the missile mastar minigame as long as the other profile is active!

I'm really having trouble on #4. Everytime on the last bird when I pull up to hit the country I end up crashing with the helicopter that is near the country.

how did you avoid the heli? i did it once but it was real tricky and luck based. i can't seem to avoid smashing into the heli past the bird! can someone please elaborate on what the trick is here?

Same here, the very end of the fourth level screws me over every time - anyone have any tips? When do you start pulling up from the very bottom?
