Hats Guide

Gamefaqs has a hat guide for the Gamecube version of the game here:

I couldn't imagine that how you unlock the hats would be any different for the 360 version. But two of the hats I've tried to get (#25. Jester Hat, and #26. Yellow Shark Fin) Don't work. I've gotten all of the other ones except those two and one more so I'm pretty sure its a glitch.

Still hopes this helps people though.

Yes they all work except those two. The only one I still have left to check is the Tiara (#12). That level is really hard but i'm gonna try to get it tonight.

Just got #12. So they all work except 25 and 26.

I'm gonna play the level again for 25, I just might not of had it on hard when I thought I did. And you might have to beat the level after you dig for 26. But I remember it unlocking right away when I got it in the gamecube version.

Wow, good info.

And I wouldn't be surprised if those 2 hats were glitched. There seems to be other glitches in this game with unlocking things... (mini games).

Unless there is actually a completely different way to get them in the 360 version. That would explain it...

i have all of them except the 2 glitched and the Private Eye one (#14) (you have to beat 3-2 on Hard) what did i do wrong? i was playing as the 2nd person (on hard) and the first person was on easy, at the end of the level i came in to the game and blew up the gate, i heard the horn and saw my guy dance and the hat unlocked thing come up for like a half a second, BUT NO HAT? WTF!

you know, almost that same thing happened to me. I put it on hard and beat the level and nothing happened. then I went back and the difficulty said medium so I put it back on hard and did it again and it unlocked the 2nd time.

It's definitely different on the 360... I unlocked both the Crown Of Flowers and the Stove Top Hat without ever turning the Gore option off.

Yeah, the only ones I've got left are Tiara, Private Eye Hat, Jester's Cap and Yellow Shark Fin. Haven't accomplished what's necessary for the first two and I'm not going to bust my own balls over it because the second two don't work. Tried digging all over that snowmobile. Strange.

Let me just say, though... that if clearing a level using less than 3 continues is an achievement worthy of unlocking something special, then maybe the game you've created is a little too difficult.

Make sure that when you change the difficulty in the settings, you press A to get out of the menu instead of B, or it won't save your settings.

Ok, i was wondering. Well since the YELLOW SHARK FIN & JESTER'S CAP are glitched (mine's as well,thoguh i have heard others say that they have unlocked jester's cap by playing 3-4 Hard. Now im thinking yeah right, another attention seeker, but then i thought of the name input cheats.
Will the hats pop up if you use any of the cheat codes for the hats or maybe the "All hats" name input cheat code.Since you cant get them playing the game, maybe you can force it out by this method.

Crazy, could the glitch be fixed? Is there anyway to check if someone has 100% in it? According to http://www.my360stats.com/ no one has 100% yet. Is there anywhere else we can check?

I dunno its weird.... unless someone without live has done it offline and submitted the picture? i heard somewhere that you have to suffacate under the snowmobile to get the hat but i havent tried it yet....

Edit: Nope that dont work either...

nevermind, I found it. thanks. Now, in the gamefaqs giude it only lists 30 hats. not 31. Did anyone fix that glix?

I guess there aren't any plans to fix this since it hasn't been done yet. Kind of disappointing.

Unless the hat is in a new location rather than the one the old version faqs list and no one has found it yet. If that were the case I can imagine Behemoth laughing it up at everyone thinking it's glitched. But I would think that someone would have found it by now if it were in the game.

No, sufoor is a achievement hacker. sufoor is roofus backwards, roofus is the man behind 360gamesaves.

No one has gotten all the hats, the achievement is glitched until MS and Behemoth fix it.
