So What's every body's thoughts on the game? I'm a huge Square-Enix fan,I saw it in the games marketplace and thought id see the forums to check it out. Not much here though right now, hence this thread. So who's played it so far? I'm hoping for some MS points tomorrow (crimbo!) so may download it if I like the demo. Is the full game any good?

I like it enough, kinda slow, but fun co-op. I wish I could find more info though, like ship unlock requirements, secret achievements, boss weak points.... but it is fun

Like all SHMUPS from SQUARE except EINHANDER, this 0 DAY isn't enough good..... laggy on coop mode, capture flag mode not interesting and control points mode boring, 21 levels, only 3 bosses, and the worst point, when you unlock new fighter, you just unlock new color......

maxcost 800msp because it's christmas.......

PS: one of secret achievement is to control all points.....

Well 21 levels seems ok to me for an arcade title, but 3 bosses is isapointing, are they spread out equally like a boss every 7 levels? Are there any MP achievements in the game that are made hard to unlock due to this poor lag?
So far seems 1200 MS poins is a bit much, hopefully it will pop up in the countdown to new year with 50% off lol.

Still giving it a go. Had to take a small vacation, but attempting the game full-on now. Is there a cohesive list of all 'cheevs yet?

Did I miss that somehow?

So I downloaded the full game and It seems ok to me. Took me awhile to get a feel for it but seems like fun. Only bad thing so far is that out of the 10 times I tried to get a co op game there were none avaiable, so I'm hoping that the 100 co op kill cheevo can be done in local, could take a very long time else.

about this 100 kills cheevo i think that only orange targets count because i've got more than 135 kills and still no cheev

Wow that sucks man, like big time sucks. So theres gunna be upto 4 players all aiming for the same target, and only one person gets the kill. I played a co op game on the first level, me and the other player were both shooting the orange target, we both went straight for it and ignored everything else and at the end of the game he got the kill and I didn't. I cant even count the amount of times I've tried to get a control point game and never got a single game! And no local offline co op-WTF!!!! I retract my first statement about this game, this game sucks so much f**king balls It's a sin!

Guys how long does it take to rank up to First Lady, right now Im First Lieutenant.

@Xen: Yeah really, what a crappy game. Not just that -- if the game determines that your death margin was too high in a particular "Day" in comparison to your target kill margin you will be demoted and demoted until you drop. And taking into account how much lag there is in co-op the developers give you absolutely no reason to play with friends, or anyone at that.

@Starin: How have you been getting up your rank? I'm Second Lieutenant right now, but I've only been doing slightly better on random stages to get them, and then other times there's no bonus.

I just made the "First Lady" rank for "Ruler of the Universe" achievement. It took me a few hours starting from one of the Airman levels. Its not my method but it WORKED!! Here's how I did it.

Play Paris Day 7 on Easy.

I don't think difficulty matters on this one, but as mentioned before, deaths do. This is the easiest boss in the game. As mentioned, deaths do matter, so try and keep them down. I was able to do this with 0-1 deaths most of the time. The pacing of the ranks goes through varying degrees of Lieutenant, Major, Colonel, and General. There are 5 degrees of general, President, and then (plink!) First Lady. I should mention that between the last three ranks it took me about ten plays of Paris Day 7 between rank-ups. Just keep playing it and try and keep the deaths down. I usually save my bombs until the first mosquito shows up so I don't have to worry about it.

Well yeah thats why Im doing playing the last level but Ive been doing it on hard at the moment so I can also get killed for the being shot 256 times. At the moment Im sitting at Captain.

Well in hard Im getting killed 3 times and I still manage to get from 66,000 points to 72,000 points and at the moment Im a Lieutenant General

Maybe it would be better for players to get the rank achievemnet first, so keep deaths to a minimum to get the ranks in. Then just die like mad!

Actually all i did was play on hard Paris Day 7 die 3 times and then kill the boss. I eventually got to First Lady before dying 256 times!!! All I need is kill 100 targets in co-op now and beat game without dying which is not that bad since i can reach Tokyo day 7 without dying!

How far a person may be willing to go just for meaningless achievements...

Come on guys, let's be real here: this game isn't worth your time when you're playing it to see points pop up on your screens; you should be seeing those achievements pop up while playing something that is good so you can enjoy the game as well.

Why not just play some Halo 3 or Left 4 Dead 2? You'd have nothing to lose.

Actually I do enjoy the game man single player is fun but multiplayer sucks!

Btw already played Halo and got 1000 in L4D2!
