When i was playing Tinker on my pc I had exactly the same problem. It just kept restarting the level..

But today I installed it also on my laptop and it popped up my very first time. So I think it's just a little bit glitchy like the other achievements..



I have a question about the Robot Master achievement where you have to make 10.000 steps. I want to boost it so: can I put something between my arrow buttons on the keyboard so the Robot keeps walking forever. And then i also put something between the Space button so at the end it restarts automaticly. Will this work?

If it works then i just leave my computer running @ night and when I wake up I just complete a level so the achievemen will unlock.

Too bad you can't see how many steps/turn you have taken..

I mean this:



You see that the Robot keeps pushing against the block and his Movements reduce so he will get to 0 movements left and needs to restart the level. When you have something stuck between the Space button he automaticly restarts the level (by pressing Space) and then you can repeat this for a whole night.


So: does pushing the block like in the picture count as a step? You actually don't make a step but the movements energy reduces.. so it's hard to tell if he records them or not.

Why do you need to boost for 10,000 turns? You'll have way more than that by the time you finish off all the levels so it will come naturally just by playing.

Anyway, about your question... I don't think that it is actually steps you need but turns. Instead of blocking off a forward key maybe your luck would be better with a left or right directional key, that way he just spins in a circle and not pressed into a wall.

Wow, peoples need for achievements has really gotten to an all time low when they admit they only want the easiest points and won't bother to try the more challenging ones. I 'm guessing you don't care about completion ratio?

It's easy to think something like that but it isn't that way because you dont know me. My completion ratio is 80% so I don't know what you're talking about, what's yours?

And i'm absolutely not only going for the easy achievement, an example is that I have the 10.002 kill achievement for Battlefield: Bad Company. So check out my gamertag.

Don't get me wrong, I just want to achieve this achievement easy because my next project will be Assassin's Creed II which I still need to buy (shame shame). In the future I want to complete a few more sets but I don't know if i'm going for the 200/200 or go for 150/200 or something.

I can give you some more reasons but yeah it doesnt bother i think because you already have your opinion about me..

hmm the achievement discription says 10.000 STEPS. And there's another achievement which requires making 1000 TURNS.

Lol nobody knows for sure what you need to do exactly, turns or steps.

i'm not sure if pushing an unmovable block counts as a step or not. since there is no counter for this (unless you know code to look inside your gs), not sure i would try.

that won't be necessary lol i believe you, i was just trying to make sure I understood what was happening. you may want to try what the other member did and reinstall the game. he said that after he did that the achievement unlocked. good luck and keep us posted!

Yeah that's the problem , the movement counter reduces so you would say that you move (or turn) , BUT you aren't moving actually.

I'm just going to try it and I will see the result tomorrow.

The video guide is well under way, we have tutorial -> set 2 up, set 3 1-10, set 7 1-6, any and all help is welcomed, the video guide will be a great help for those stuck, or are looking for a quick 200,

P.S. not too look desperate or needy, but a plug in your road map for the video guide would be helpful to many gamers

had robot controller (turn 1000 times) unlock straight after finishing off the tutorial set. almost a pity it didn't glitch the 10000 step achievement too.

I have the Robot Controller achievement glitched in the beginning and now i have the Robot Master (10.000 steps) aswell, so the boosting method mentioned on top of this page worked.

Also completed Set 2, my plan today is to complete Set 3.

Is the "Over The Hill" (complete 81 levels) achievement glitched? Because I have completed 87 levels (I am now at 8th level of Set 4) and it hasn't unlocked.


OR do the Tutorial levels don't count, so you need to be at Set 5?

status update on the video guide, all solutions should be posted within 24 hours, barring that there are no nasty surprises (ie if there is a near to impossible solution needed to be found on say set 7 level 20

tutorial section does not count. you should get it when you pass level 11 on the 4th set.
