Is This Game Dead Online?
After taking a little break from RFG mp to play Borderlands and AC2 and stuff, i come back to find that it takes around 5 minutes to get into a game?
I clicked siege, my favourite game type, and it never found more than one other person. When i click any playlist, it says it only finds like 3 games, and 2 of them get no response? Is this a problem on my side? I think my NAT is open, since when i run the tests it says its fine, but can a game this good really be dead?

Play on the weekends. I usually finish 30 games on saturday.
There should be alot more people since the THQ pack went on sale. Just wait for alot of people to finish the campaign. |

Yeah, unless you find a peak time on the weekend its pretty much dead.
Making it very difficult to get these multiplayer achievements.. should have done them first. |

Well i can exp boost, but i really wouldnt want to. I love this game online.
You said peak times, is that for GMT or american?

I never have to wait more than 3 minutes to find a game, usually about a minute. It is indeed fun online though.

How are the DLC maps? I didn't buy them but I want to know if people play on them . How's the Single-player DLC?

Ive been playing this game alot online recently and havent really had any troubles finding a game, i usually play team objective, i havent been able to get into a game of Seige however...

i was thinking of going back and playing the online multiplayer and was wondering if it is really dead online?. i really enjoyed this game online. just wondering any help would be greatly appreciated.

short answer: Yes -- although its been 5 days of nonstop legit online matches and iv got all challanges 75k xp and 200 wins so really its not that slow to get a game going.

The PC version is almost dead, I've had to give up playing multiplayer because I can only get 2-4 max when I look...

Well, as of today, the game is still quiet, but not too hard to find a match under Team Anarchy or Anarchy. During the afternoon/evening is your best bet. Weekends are also pretty popular. Never takes more than 5 minutes to find a game for me.

I just bought the game yesterday, and went on mutiplayer for the popcorn cheevie, and was in a full room. I guess there are ups and downs on that.

Hopefully more people will start playing this online again when they realize that Red Faction Armageddon only has "horde mode" style multi-player and no competitive matches against one another. Starting tonight I know I'm going to try and see if I can start getting in some matches again after a long hiatus.

I just finished playing 4 matches in a row, capture the flag, anarchy, etc. and each match with about 8 players. This was at 8 am EST on a Tuesday...the online is not dead.

It can take a while to get in a game - tried Sunday evening (GMT) and it took 20 minutes to find a game.

the game is half dead, atleast pc version.
but sometimes I can enter a game pretty quickly, so it's got it ups and downs. |

as of today it still has an online community but you will have to wait around 10 mins for the lobby to fill up
