Ultimate Guide to Boosting Gears

Let's face it, everyone wants to become a rank 100 in Gears 2, but no one wants to put in 700 hours at least towards one achievement. To be honest, there are no legit ways to get this achievement overnight. For those that are willing though, there are ways to cut off several hundred hours off this achievement, boosting.

There are only two methods to boosting in this game, both faster than playing the game normally. They are Guardian boosting, and Horde boosting. Many of you have probably heard of both, some of you may have even done them.

A fair warning though, just because you are going to be cutting of a lot of time by boosting this game, don't think it will be a cake-walk. It is still going to take a long time for you to get this achievement, and if you plan on boosting in Guardian, you will have to commit yourself to this game. Guardian boosting alone will take around at least 200 hours of boosting, assuming nothing goes wrong.

I would like to add, I take no credit for either of these strategies, or just about all of these strategies in this guide. All I am doing is taking all of the knowledge I have gained from others while boosting this game, and turning it into a guide.

Guardian Boosting

Without a doubt the fastest way to earn experience in this game without the use of any hacks or mods, Guardian boosting is your best bet to ever getting rank 100 in a decent amount of time. While it may be the quickest way, it also requires the most amount of work to pull off. Well, what kind of work? Read on.

Requirements

Before you go off thinking anyone can do this boosting method, you will need to know what you have to have to pull this off. There are a few things you will need, which may deter some people from using this method altogether. To start off, you will need the following.

Two Xbox 360 Controllers(Guitar Hero/Rock Band instruments will do)

Two Gold Accounts

All DLC Maps

A reliable internet connection

Time and Patience

Now you might be wondering, why do I need all of these things? This will be thoroughly explained in this section.

Should any of you be lucky/rich enough to have and own more than one 360, you will make boosting this game much easier. Of course though, if you have another 360, you will require another two controllers and two gold accounts, but will save you time in the long run.

While normal controllers are always preferred, you can use any controller for the 360, so long as it has a D-Pad. Which as far as I can tell, means any controller.

If you even want a chance of boosting, you will need all of the DLC. Why do you need them all? Not everyone has them, meaning if you search in playlists that require them, it becomes much more possible for everyone to find each other.

The most important thing required out of everyone is a reliable connection that will not drop consistently without a moments notice. Because of the way this boosting method must be done, if for whatever reason someone's connection drops, the game must be ended. If the game ends before the preset time, that means several people will be screwed out of points, and unless you do another game, can be extremely frustrating.

On top of having a reliable connection, you will need to have someone with a connection that is very reliable to host on. The more people you have that can easily host games, the much easier it will be to set up boosting matches. Should the person you ever rely on is ever host-banned, that will make finding matches a much more painful experience. Again, this will be explained in the next few sections.

To check your connection, look HERE. The faster your Upload speed, the better the host you will be.

How it's Done

First things first, you must have enough accounts to fill two entire parties, so that means ten accounts, with three people in each party. Seeing as how most people will only have one console, which means normally you will require six people to boost the game. This is one of the reasons you will need extra accounts, so as to fill in those extra spaces you cannot yourself.

Anyway, with the person who your boosting party has designated to host the matches must first start off by making a party. This party must have two people in it, both having second accounts. No matter what, the person who is hosting this party, and the one you want to host the match, cannot bring in a second account. Again, read on for the reason why.

To keep the game fair for everyone, Epic made sure that if anyone is playing split-screen with another player on their console, they cannot host a match, EVER. Even if you have the best connection out of everyone in the game, the game will never choose you as the host. Only people playing by themselves will ever have a chance of hosting. This is how we are able to choose who we want to host.

Following that logic, the second party must be hosted by someone with two accounts, playing split-screen on a single console. The other three slots must be filled by another player with two accounts, and one person with only one account. From there, it's a matter of finding each other through matchmaking, and hopefully getting into a match with each other.

Before the match even starts, everyone should agree on long the match will take and when to end it. If you want to get any decent amount of points in a game, you should at least a do a match that lasts at least an hour. At most, no game should last more than three hours, or else you risk everything you've earned.

Make sure that once you find a time, stick with it. For some reason, after around 2-3 hours, even the most reliable connections in the game will start to lag a little bit, eventually becoming worse and worse until finally the connection is lost. That is why, if everyone in the game begins to have a constant lag with every shot, you must end the game. Small lag spikes occur from time to time, but consistent lag spikes often mean that the host's connection is becoming extremely unstable, and should always be taken seriously. Do not risk it, or you will eventually regret it.

When boosting this game in Guardian, you will normally have six boosters, three boosters on each team. The way this works is, you have one booster from each team go to each spawn, and kill all of the idle accounts. When one booster is at the chosen spawn, they do not leave, staying there, waiting for more people to spawn. That's it, though it's not as simple as you may think right away. Should you everyone go all at the same time, everyone will wind up getting less kills, and wasting more time. As such, you can only have four active boosters at a time, two from each team. That means at all times, two boosters from each team must be actively killing, while one booster from each team, must be away.

The killing must be done in a timely fashion however, as you are on the clock. Everyone spawns in 15 second waves, though you only have seven seconds to kill everyone. The first five seconds after everyone spawns, the game imposes a spawn protection on them, so you cannot damage the idle players. After five seconds though, it's open season. Once the spawn protection wears off, you will have seven seconds to kill everyone, or else they will not spawn in the next wave. This will happen from time to time, but if you consistently do this, the other person on your team and yourself will begin to suffer, as you will not gain most amount of points you possibly can.

With only two active boosters per team, the only way to make it fair is for everyone to take turns, because sharing is caring. That means everyone will be able to boost for only 2/3 of the entire match time, and the rest of the time, you do nothing. If you wanted to do a one hour match, that means everyone will have forty minutes to boost, and 20 minutes they must wait, or idle. A three hour game would mean everyone boosts for two hours, and must be idle for one hour, etc. That means one person on each team must go idle for the first 1/3 of the time, then another person on team goes idle for the next 1/3 of the time, and the people who haven't stopped boosting yet, must go idle for the final 1/3 of the time.

After that, it now comes to decide who is going to be the leader. Seeing as how you cannot have any of the idle accounts or boosters as the leader, as that would leave a team with one less person to kill every wave, you must have someone who will be active become the leader. Some people like to switch off leaders with each new shift, others like to have the person going for the first 2/3 of the time be leader so you don't have to change as often. This all comes down to personal preference, and has no bearing on the game, so long as one of the active boosters is the leader.

Whenever the time you as a party have decided is finished, end the game right away. Don't get caught up in small things like who should win the game, or that you didn't get all the points you wanted. Once the game ends, wait for the XP bar to show up, and enjoy how much XP you have gained in so little time.

Food for Thought

While when you first start using this method, you may think it's simple to pick up on. For the most part it is, but there are a few things you always need to keep in mind.

You need to kill as fast as possible, or risk them not spawning in the following wave. The fastest way to kill everyone, is with a point-blank shotgun. If you get very close, a shotgun shot will usually be an instant kill, though sometimes bullets will go through people, or lag will cause them to not even damage who you're shooting. If you plan for having a match go for any amount of time, you will need the idle accounts to drop ammo whenever possible. Those who have brought two accounts into the game will have to be responsible for this, as the active boosters will go through ammo fairly quickly. If you don't grab any ammo consistently, you will not be able to kill all three idle accounts in the seven second time window you have to do it.

Make sure that everyone starts off with the same default weapon, whether it be a Lancer or Hammerburst is up to you. Also, if you have them, do not use golden weapons, as it will make boosting slightly more annoying. If you pick up all the ammo you can for your default weapon, then it will not allow you to pick up any more. If everyone has the same default weapon, that means the only ammo type you will be able to pick up is shotgun ammo. Even if it doesn't show up on your HUD, if someone consistently drops shotgun ammo, mashing X into the huge crowd of guns will eventually pick it up.

Certain maps are better for Guardian boosting than others. The smaller the spawn area is, the closer together everyone will be, meaning you can kill them quicker. Since more in likely you will have to use the DLC maps, you should be fine. The maps that have larger spawns usually spread everyone out more, meaning you will have to spend more time moving to each account. The maps you will want to watch out for mainly are War Machine and Way Station. Every map in the game is doable, but these maps spawns are fairly large and will spawn people quite a distance from each other. If you're fast enough, you can still do War Machine, but Way Station is next to impossible to boost on. The spawns are just too large, and idle accounts can spawn in a variety of areas.

What formation everyone will spawn in on some maps depends on where both people at the spawn are standing. Take Highway for example. The spawn itself is fairly spacious, and everyone can spawn in on one of two sides. If you have both people stand on one side of the spawn, you will force the game to spawn all idle accounts right next to each other on one side. This doesn't work on all maps, as sometimes they will spawn in an area no matter what, or it's completely random. Experiment on the different maps and see what you can find.

If all is well, everyone is killing all three accounts in time, and the spawns are fairly even, you will get a lot of points. Usually, if everything goes according to plan, you will average around 60k points every hour. That's a lot, though compare that to the current XP ratio for Guardian, and that is about how much XP you will get every match.

More is Less

Should you happen to have two consoles lying around and four controllers, you can make your Guardian boosting time fly by even faster. The reason why is you will need six boosters to fill both parties, however, by having another console with another two accounts on it means you need one less booster for the match. One less booster means that whoever has two consoles and the other person on his team will not have to take turns, and with the extra accounts, will not have to idle for someone else. While you will still have to put in the same amount of time boosting, not having to idle means you can do slightly more work in a match. You may not have the luxury of taking break when you want, you will get more work done in less time.

Of course, should you be fortunate enough to have two consoles, be expected to drop shotgun ammo often.

What Will Go Wrong

Boosting in Gears isn't nearly as perfect or easy as most other games. You will have several things that can and will go wrong in this game, and you can't do anything but just keep going. The things that can go wrong can range from the obscenely annoying to outright preventing you from boosting.

The lowliest of all these problems comes can be faulted with the game itself. Every so often, when you are shooting someone with a shotgun point-blank, they will not take damage. Sometimes, the bullets will go straight through them, even after the spawn protection has worn off. Should this happen to you, the only work around is meleeing the person who will not take damage, and then finally shooting them. The melee should allow you to damage the person again, allowing your shot to hopefully kill the damage person. Also known as a two-piece, among the Gears community.

Sometimes, the person will actually take damage, however not enough to kill them outright. Should you ever find yourself using more than two shots to kill, just melee the person down and kill them. It'll waste more time, but sometimes idle accounts will just refuse to die.

As unfortunate as it is, the spawns for the game are completely random. Now normally, this is not a problem, as the Locusts and COG spawns will change spawns often enough so that everyone has close to the same amount of points. Every so often however, the game will become uneven, spawning the Locusts and COG in the same spawn for a period of time. This is normal, though can be very annoying for those that are being denied a chance to kill. Usually however, the game will eventually balance itself out, with those who were denied kills eventually getting the chance to. If this happens, don't panic, it's normal. Just remember to stick to whatever time you have all agreed on, and don't get greedy.

With that, here are the major problems you will have to face when boosting this game. The first of these major problems is if the host's connections ever drops, or lag spikes. To combat lag-switchers and bridgers in this game, Epic has an automatic system to automatically tell when someone is altering their connection, and the game will automatically reward the host 0 points for the game, and ban them from being able to host for a period of time. Unfortunately, this system is crap, oftentimes mistaking a lag spike on the host's ends as one of these unlawful methods, leading to a host ban, and the host getting nothing for the match. If for some reason, the host does get 0 XP, you will have several options.

Your first option is to play a few games, or wait for a period of time. Some people say playing ten or so games will remove it, others say wait a few hours. I can't honestly say which is true, but should the person you rely on to host be banned, you will have to find a new person to host the matches for a while.

The other major problem comes from something that for the most part, you have no control over. Every so often, someone will have their internet go out on them. It could be the router, it could be their ISP, but should someone become disconnected during a boosting match, it's game over for everyone else. In the unfortunate case that someone is disconnected, bots will replace them, making it impossible to boost without any interruptions. That means the game must be ended, no matter if everyone has had their time in or not.

One last problem that can prevent you from finding each other outright, is sometimes, some people may not be able to connect to the host completely. This can make trying to find each other completely impossible, but it can be tested, and there are ways around it. The best way to test it is to have the person you plan on hosting the game send a private chat invite to every booster. If both the host and booster can connect to each normally, then you are fine. If you cannot, you may not be able to connect to that person if they are hosting a game. Unless the host is willing to change his/her's firewall settings, you will have to find another person to host.

Finding Boosters

Probably the hardest part of this entire boosting method, is finding a reliable boosting party filled with people you know you can count on. Unfortunately, there's not much I can do to help you here. If you can, try to find more boosters than what is required. As reliable as some people may be, it's always nice to have someone else just in case something comes up.

Finding Each Other

Well, if you've found a party, have enough free time for a game, and are ready for the potential of what can go wrong, you must now find each other. As was detailed before, make sure that the host can properly connect to everyone, which can be done by seeing if the host and other person can connect to each other in a private chat. Whenever you're ready, gather all of the boosters into a party chat, so that everyone is in constant communication, and everyone knows what's going on.

Well, first things first, you need to give everyone good feedback. Sure, it may not do much, but anything that can help you find each other will be worth it. Giving good feedback to someone normally requires you to play a game with them, however, it can be done much quicker. Before you even start searching for each other, start up a Private Match lobby, and invite everyone in. Just for being in the lobby, everyone can give good feedback to each other. For the sake of being thorough, it is also recommended to give good feedback with your extra accounts, though that is up to you.

Another important thing that should be discussed by your party, is your locations. The simple fact of the matter is that the closer two people are in real life, the easier and more likely they are to be matched up. So on top of giving good feed back to everyone, try to find out who lives to the closest to the person you want to host. If you do figure who does live the closest to the host, make sure he is the second party leader with two accounts.

Once everything is done and the parties are ready, it comes down to finding each other. First off, make sure you are all looking for matches in the same playlist. Also, make sure that the playlist you search in contains Guardian, unless you don't want to boost. The best playlists to play on are ones that require DLC, as not everyone will have it. It is highly recommend to not even trying to play on the playlists with the default maps, as the odds of ever finding each other are slim to none.

When everyone is ready, have both party leaders start a countdown, and begin searching for each other at the same time. From there, it all comes down to hoping that you get matched together. Usually, it's best to have both party leaders in constant communication, telling each other that they are searching, or when they connect to a match. If you hear both party leaders saying they've connected at the same time, that's a very good sign that you've probably found each other.

Of course, if one party connects to a match and the other doesn't, stop searching right away. If your party is connecting to a match and you know it's not the other boosting party, there are ways you can get out of it. If you are fast enough, if you can get to the dashboard before the loading screen finishes, then you will get out of the match entirely without any XP penalties. If you aren't quick enough, you will have to wait a little longer, but can still get out of it. Wait until the match starts, and when you gain control of your character, go to the back of your 360 and pull your Ethernet cable out. Once that's done, just connect back to Live, and you will have gotten out of the match without a penalty. These strategies are great, assuming one thing, you aren't hosting the match.

If the person you want to host is indeed hosting the match, you cannot do any of what has been suggested above, or else you will be host-banned. That means you must finish the match, unfortunately. Whether you try to end it quickly or don't even try doesn't matter, so long as you stay until the very end of the game.

How can you tell you are host? There are several ways, with the first sign being right in the middle of the searching screen. Normally, among all of the text telling you that you are searching, when you find a match, it will say "Connecting to Match". Afterwords, the game sends you into a loading screen, with the pre-game lobby following soon after. If you are host, you will never get the "Connecting to Match" text, being sent straight into the loading screen instead.

If you missed that cue, the most reliable way to test if you are host is by a smoke grenade. Whenever you throw grenades off-host in this game, your grenade will not spin when thrown, staying straight for the duration of it's flight. If you are host, when you throw a grenade, it will spiral until it lands, just like in the campaign. This cue is the most reliable way to tell if you are host, if you missed the first cue.

The Long Haul

There is a lot of information here, and those unfamiliar with this method may be confused or just don't understand. For the most part, all of this is fairly simple. If you or some others are confused about how to run the match, play around for a little bit in private matches, so that you learn everyone's role and what you must do. Otherwise, with the amount of boosting you will be doing if you plan on reaching rank 100, you will learn this strategy in no time.

Once you learn how to do this, and what exactly you must do, there will be one last thing for you to do. Find ways to keep yourself entertained. Boosting in this game is a long, and extremely tedious process that you will learn to hate. Having ways to keep yourself occupied while still boosting can make it go by much faster. Simple things, like having an enlightening conversations with your boosters, or listening to music are some of the ways you can pay attention to boosting while still keeping yourself busy.

The Bottom Line

No matter what you do, going for rank 100 will take a long, long time if you ever plan on doing it. It will require hard work and dedication from not only you, but those that you will be boosting with. Be prepared for the worst, as no matter what people may say, this boosting method is the fastest way to get XP, it's not perfect. There will be many things that will set you behind, and unfortunately there's very little you can do to get around most of it. While I may say it will take at least 200 hours to finish, be prepared to invest more than that, from all of time wasted trying to find each other, and in the case something happens in your games.

Horde Boosting

This boosting method is much simpler to follow, and can be done as long as you have the game. While it is simpler, and you don't need as much, this method is not nearly as good XP-wise as Guardian boosting.

Simple, yet Effective

Before you begin, you will need a few people to play with. While you can get by with two or three people, it will go faster if you can get at least four. Once you get everyone you can, simply start up a private Horde match on Security. Set the difficulty to Insane, and start from wave 1.

Once that's done, have one person go to each of the grenade spawns, one person per grenade, and send person to each normal spawn. If done correctly, this will prevent all of enemies from spawn on one side, or spawn outside. This will instead force them to spawn in the small tunnel containing the switch to the lasers, and the Scorcher. The people that were sent to the grenades should pick up the frag grenades, and once 15 seconds or so has passed in the round, everyone must go to the tunnel. From there, kill everyone in here as quickly as possible.

Considering you are only going up against Drones and Wretches, you can finish this fairly quickly. It should take about a minute with everyone working together to finish the wave. When the next wave begins, have everyone run into the lasers as fast as you can. With the round over, have the host of the game restart from the beginning, taking you back to wave 1.

If done correctly, this entire process should take around a minute and a half, or 90 seconds for the current amount you normally get for beating a wave of horde on Insane. Again, not as fast as Guardian boosting, but it's still better than playing the game normally. Also, the major problems that come with Guardian boosting are absent here, so there is virtually nothing that can go wrong. Assuming everyone knows what they are doing.

Double XP

Double XP events are a boosters dream come true, for many obvious reason. Any events that increase the amount of XP you get don't happen often, usually only for holidays. So when they do happen, you must take advantage of it as much as possible.

There is a lifesaving trick that boosters take advantage of when it comes to double XP, though I am not sure this still works for Guardian boosting.

Whosoever you designate to be the one hosting the games, have him/her leave their 360 on while playing Gears, even after the event is over. As long as the 360 is on and still playing Gears, the host will still have double XP in effect. That means, so long as the person leaves their 360 on and hosts a game, everyone in the game will get double XP.

F.A.Q.

Q. If I do Guardian Boosting, will Microsoft reset my rank?

A. Don't let anyone ever tell you otherwise, Microsoft will never reset anyone who boosts for their rank 100. As long as you do not resort to modding/hacking, or use bridging/lagswitching, you will be fine. Boosting is not against Microsoft's ToU, everything else listed is.

Q. Which is better for boosting, Guardian, or Horde?

A. It all comes down to preference. Guardian is much faster than Horde, but it takes work to find and get a reliable boosting party, and then find each other. When that's done, you will then have to sit down for a while and tediously spawn kill until whatever time your party is sticking with.

Horde is much easier to get going, and doesn't suffer from any potential problems. Compared to Guardian though, you won't get nearly as much as fast. In the end, it's up to you to choose what you want to do.

Q. How long will it take boosting to get my rank 100?

A. A long time. With Guardian boosting alone, you will have to do at least 150 hours of boosting to get from rank 1 to rank 100, assuming you average around 60k points an hour. This of course, is not including the amount of time you will need to plan the matches, finding each other, and all the possible things that will go wrong. A more accurate time will be at least 250 hours, though it could easily be more.

While that may be a long time, it's certainly better than the alternative. If you play the game normally, it's going to take at least 800 hours, and that's if you are good. For your average player, 1000 hours isn't completely off.

Q. How can your rank be reset, and can it be avoided?

A. This a huge problem with the game, that Epic will probably never fix. The reason why this happens is with TU3 introducing XP, the game will save all of your progress on your hard drive and on the Epic servers. If you try to play multiplayer on a version of the game without any updates, the game will not know what to do with the extra data, deleting it. That means the next time you go and play online, you will lose your rank, and all of the progress you've made.

The easiest way to avoid losing your rank? Don't play multiplayer offline, especially if the console hasn't been updated.

Q. Oh crap, my rank has been reset!!! How can I get my rank back?

A. There are only two ways your rank can be reset. The first, as has been detailed in the last question comes from playing multiplayer offline on a game without any updates. The only other way this can happen is if you glitched your rank 100. If it's the latter, all I can say is, play the game without glitching.

No matter what though, if you ever lose your rank, there is nothing you can do to get it back. Once it's gone, it's gone for good. No amount of complaining to Microsoft or Epic will get your rank back, so you have two options. Either redo all of your work all over again, or give up.

Q. What if I just want to get to rank 50? Will Guardian boosting still work?

A. Of course it will, you can easily get all of the XP needed to hit rank 50 in a few Guardian boosting matches.

Q. Are there any rewards to getting to rank 100?

A. Depends on what you define as a reward. Upon getting rank 100, you will unlock the achievement Veteran Gear, something very few people in the game's population have done without cheating. The other thing, is instead of the number you have next to your gamertag in the game lobby's, you will have a star with a wing on each side, all in silver. It's quite shiny though, so if your into that, it may be worth it.

Aside from the satisfaction of doing something most people will never do, you will get nothing. No free gamerpics, no congratulations from Microsoft, no girls.

Q. Are there any sites that have all the XP required for each rank?

A. Yes, there is. It's a very useful site, that has all of the current XP ratios for every game mode, including Horde. It's a great way to check your progress.

If you wish to see the site, click HERE.

Q. What are the current XP ratios for each game mode in multiplayer?

As of the time of writing, Epic has changed the XP ratios again. They are now permanently doubled forever. That means that the current XP ratios are as follows.

  • Annex: score x 0.46
  • King of the Hill: score x 0.50
  • Submission: score x 0.76
  • Guardian: score x 1.4
  • Execution: score x 1.96
  • Warzone: score x 2
  • Wingman: score x 2.36

Q. How much XP is required to reach rank 100?

A. To be precise, to get to rank 100, you will need to get 6,825,825 XP points. Yes, you did read that right, you need over 6.8 million points to get that coveted rank 100.

Conclusion

This guide is comprised of all the knowledge many others have found that I've learned through them. Hopefully, it will help those of you still on your way to reaching rank 100.

This would have been a nice guide if someone wouldn't have thought of it before you.

Even though their thread got deleted.

You're late my friend :(

I know, I remember Ninja's thread from a while back. Ever since it was locked, I figured that someone should get another boosting guide up, so I eventually got around to doing it.

I realize I'm not the first person to post a guide, but I've put in every possible detail I can think of into this guide. I've said it several times throughout the guide, none of the strategies are my own. Most people don't even know about them, since the thread was lock. Everyone deserves to know now.

Old news but credit to you for spending so long on a good guide.

When I boost Horde on Insane, I always play the first 2 waves,

wave 2 is also easy, sometimes easier than wave 1, because

of the butchers.

Jumping in the lasers every round sucks. That's why I do 2 waves.

Agree, I've always said wave 2 is easier than 1. Butchers are slow, a big target and no threat as long as you keep your distance.

Yeah, 'cept wave 2 has grenadiers with Boltok Revolvers with massive damage and Shotguns that can kill you up to 10 meters away on insane.

Lol my rank got teset after i got it legit so really not puting the effort into this and your will probably get reset for boosting

You talk shit. You Guardian boosted with us last month. You reset your (glitched) level 100 on purpose cos you didn't want to be 100 anymore and wanted to level up again for some strange reason.

And why would you get reset for boosting in this way?

What is it with you people and trying to say that you're rank is going to get reset? It's been proven by myself and several others that this is not so.

I'm currently getting to rank 100 playing the game properly without boosting and I am 84. I would easily be over 90 by now if I played more during triple XP and didn't play so much KOTH. However, boosting this game, in my opinion is just stupid, it will take way too long.
Guardian boosting makes the time investment of this game comparable to Gears 1, instead of 500+ hours.

Not as long as legitimately playing for over a year to get 75G

If you really want to reach level 100, this is the only way that makes sense otherwise you'll have to show a huge amount of dedication over many months.

Try to boost with the same people. I've lent my profile out in to a lobby so people can use it to boost and now that they have reached 100 I'm getting the favour returned.

Makes it a lot easier getting over 250,000xp for a full 3 hours rather than having to sit out for an hour.

This would have been a nice guide if someone wouldn't have thought of it before you.

Even though their thread got deleted.

You're late my friend :(

You "my friend", are a son of a bitch. Do you think GameFreak snapped his fingers and all this text appeared?? He obviously took a lot of time recapping what it takes to boost this game. He even had the respect to give credit to his peers and take little for himself.

GF, I appreciate your hard work, man. I also appreciate an easy to find thread detailing all of this information. Before this guide I was somewhat knowledgeable of the method but now know exactly what to do and how to do it.

Lol it's always the "experienced" users who are the biggest trolls.
