Gifts for Sten

i found one of the paintings from a trader on the mountain pass but the rest i can not find. anyone know where i could find those?

Just make sure you check all the chests, crates, corpses and other containers you come across on your journeys - you'll find plenty of paintings.

sorry but ive stripped this world clean of goodies. could there be any you can steal off of people?

Possibly a few, but the only pickpocketable gift I'm aware of, is for Morganna. Have you met the Wandering Dwarf Merchant random-encounter, though? He's got a couple of things for sale, including a Gift for Sten.

But if you've picked the world clean, how come you aren't already on good footing with Sten? It shouldn't take THAT many gifts to get him to start opening up. And once he does, you can get some huge points just for chatting with him, and of course doing his 'missing sword' quest.

i need them for zev and the last romance achievement. i just don't remember seeing sten's paintings anywhere and i know i got all the other gifts

he is at about 95% liking me and can't bed the stupid elf <_<

I bedded him at around 65 - 70 though,

i do not get any dialog options for him. it's pretty odd because i've heard he was pretty easy

You might've simply said the wrong thing early on - it is possible to simply cut off his romantic option by rebuffing him early on.
