try it in the first singleplayer mission instead of the spec ops mission. i believe you get a time bonus for accuracy, where in spec ops you dont. hope that helps.

Great guide. really detailed and has good hints, cept i have only one problem. i dont have access to xbox live or another player, so im stuck doing all of them solo 99% of the time. Estate takedown took 35 min, and im not stellar at the game, so do you have any stragety on Wreckage and almost all other missons brovo and beyond (already finished alpha) on vet for people who play by themselves?

also, Pit Boss achievement says under 30 sec for S.S.D.D., which is in single player, not a spec op misson. so, i believe that you HAVE to do it in single player.

Estate Takedown
it took me 35 minutes, but i beat it on vet by myself. Heres what i did.

Whenit starts off, go to the 3 green boxes just outside, look across the valley and snipe the dude next to the tree as there is usually a guy there. Sometimes theres a guy hiding just to the right of the wall and on the lower part of the fence. There is usually a juggernaught that spawns right in the beginning, but you can still snipe the tree dude. After you kill the juggernaught, go into the house and toss a frag gernade into the second floor, switch back to Your assult rifle and go into across the way and switch your .50 cal for the W2000 thermal sniper rifle. (on the top row). Next go up the stairs (i personally didnt put any claymores down on the little doorway). Crouch, and cook a frag and throw it against the top wall so that it hits and bounces back at you but through the doorway, flash the door way across the way and doob tube it. Turn your back and face the window. Melee it to break it and prarrie dog up and down so that the hositles give threir positions away. Kill them with noob tubes. Once you thin them out, go back down the stairs and resupply. If a juggernaught spawns, sprint back down to the dock and wait. After you kill said juggernaught, go back toward the house and to the left corner, but first, place a claymore down next to the green crate pointing towards the door. When youre at the corner, slowly move out and snipe those you can see. Snipe, move a smidge, snipe, look, repeat. if a juggernaught spawns, do as you did the first. You shouldnt have to go any farther than the house, nor should you have to go on the right side of it. Ive heard that they start rushing when there are 10 left, but ive never expirenced that. Keep being cautious. If there are any more, go into the house and into the opposite doorway, slowly snipe the rest of the enemies.

I cant express enough to take it slow and to be patient. You will die for stupid reasons and you cant get frustrated over it. Remember, its just a game lol. It worked for me, thought it was so slow. Not saying its fool proof, but its just a suggestion. Hope it helps.

You can get the pit boss achievement in either single player or spec ops. The key is to figure out which one gives you the accuracy bonus. One mode gives you an accuracy bonue which can know 2-3 seconds off your time. This makes it much easier. I forget get which mode gives you the bonus, but figureit out and that will make it much easier.

I did The Pit spec op mission and finished with a time of 29.20, but still havent unlocked it. im not trying to argue with you, just curious, but i got thrown off when the achievement is saying <30 sec in the pit in S.S.D.D., the spec op mission is called "The Pit", not S.S.D.D.
Can anyone confirm?

S.S.D.D. is the first mission is story mode. Pistols work quite well. 4-6 sec accuracy bonus.

I did the Pit Boss achievement in approx 3 attempts when playing SSDD in story mode. Make sure you have both pistols before starting. The key is to go steady through the entire map with one shot only for each bad guy. At the end, you'll pick up a huge accuracy bonus which will allow you a much quicker "finish time", which is what the achievement requires.

i had the hardest time with wetwork but after 98728774834798347 tries i said screw this and ran threw it with flashbangs blindfiring a shotgun and it worked

Are u doin it alone? cuz if u have someone else theres a certain route to take that works pretty well

Good advice. Beat wetwork alone. Took 20 minutes and a lot of backing up and shooting.

Just finished spec ops Sunday morning. Took over 27 hours.

Yep, great guide. I had a friend help me with the Alpha missions but did the others on my own including Overwatch and Big Brother.

For Wardriving and Estate Takedown, I used two controllers and just hid one close to my main player to help in case I needed reviving.

I would like to say one thing... F*** Wetwork!! I hate it!! Doing it on coop, we have played over 100 times... it's such a pain in the ass.. Either we shoot the explosives at the end or don't make it at all... man.. it's annoying.

I could not find a partner to help with these OPS, so naturally i thought most of them would be near impossible. however, now i nearly have all 69 stars and did pretty much every OP on solo veteran (save the 2 Co-ops). i wanted to give some tips that might help others who are intimidated by these missions, i know at first i had little confidence that i could beat them.

The last few OPS in Echo are pretty tricky, but with these tactics it couldn't be easier
