Just got through the game to the $1,000,000 questions without any cheats and then it asked me a question I literally couldn't answer using google, and decided that isnt really fair so I'm gonna post my question and the correct answer here to help anyone else. I encourage others to do the same.

Actually the question about leaving ohio isn't a trick. There is a bridge that leaves ohio crossing the river and the bridge spits you out directly into the afore-mentioned city. Leaving ohio by any other route would not land you in a city right away, only in the neighboring state, as far as I know anyway. I could be wrong of course, which is why the game is tricky.
