Edit: OK it is got it now in the first battle with the little giant.
Just let him grab and kill you (as the Bean guy) and the acheivement is yours

i dont think that the actual achievement is glitched, i think it is just the weapon's stastic screen that is glitched. before i started playing a new game, i checked it and it said i had collected 162 weapons. i started a new game, collected the 4 weapons that i was missing, which was the beaver, shark scimitar, water bellow, and water pump. the achievement popped at the water bellow, and after that i went to taleville and checked the statistics, and it still said 162. along with my slice weapons saying 47 and blunt saying 95. definitely something wrong there

Almost done collecting these weapons, thanks for the guide, I currently have:

Sharp: 47
Blunt: 93
Bows: 5
Guns: 5
Wands: 5
potions: 5

To those that thought there weren't a 5th gun or bow, there is, idk where I found mine or what type it was but I got it

Only 2 more to go if it pops at 162..... at 160 total atm, the weapons are glitching or something for me, first it started out that had to finish the chapter, now it's just not counting them at all, I know fro a fact I've never gotten the chandalier before, and does anyone know exactly where the mirror shard is? I've looked for quite a while.

just completed my 3rd play through and at chap 10 on my 4th I'm at 161 weapons so looks like i need 1 more though no clue what it is lol.

I think sometimes its just random what comes from chest as Ive just picked opened some of the chest in the 1st post and don't recall having a water pump come out so think/hope/pray that its that.

Also the chest one is a pain i the arse.

is there a way in game I can see what weapons I have collected or even how many of each type? I cant seem to find out in the game what I have collected

There's no in game list to see what weapons you have collected unfortunately, but I went to the manual and wrote out each weapon in the book, then scratched them off as I found them. It's a bit of a pain in the neck, but as you come across weapons I found it easier to remember what I had picked up. If you forget, just refer to the list. Hope it helps.

I believe Toad is a Blunt, you get them from a wishing well, unsure the level right now, sorry. I think you may be missing the Mirror Shard for the sharp. It is in a Chest in Level 10. When you get to the Guliotines there is a chest in this area that has it. It is the only one I have seen in the game. Its on the "peir" upper dock area. Inside the first Guilloutine set. Just jump up there to get it.

Yes, you do not have to actually use it. Also, you do not have to complete a level for it to register, well not exactly. You need it to tally of course, but as in my case I was missing only one, and as soon as I grabbed it the acheivement popped. Of course I finished the level anyways just so my stats would show as collecting all the SHARP weapons. .... I was missing the Blacksmiths Sword.

Posted in another response on this thread, but the Mirror Shard is in level 10. During the Gilloutines section the top most chest in the first Guillotine section, just jump up there to get it, or walk up the steps to the right and backtrack to it. Again, this is the only Mirror Shard I have seen in the whole game.

Actually the slingshot is the 5th gun so to speak. if you look in the booklet it gives you 6 bows instead of 5 and 4 guns instead of 5.

If anybody still has the patience to play this game, ive started it and need help on the multiplayer cheevos, i dont want to unlock my single player run throughs yet because of the glitches this game has to offer but if anybody wants to play through all 3 diffculties my GC: Rushdog7 and i can help find secret weapons and tresure chests that R hidden well.
