The Boss's Boss not unlocking

Twice now I've done boss fights without losing a single warrior and still this achievement refuses to pop. I've even had my mate sit and watch the side of the screen to ensure I didn't lose one and miss seeing it. The guide says to die if you hit the sunlight or whatever but you can't die, it just plonks you back at the start and still doesn't give me my achievement. I've not lost a warrior in the sun on the approcah or when actually attacking the totems but nothing. What am I doing wrong?

Only thing I notice is that each time I destroy a totem, it looks like you lose a wind warrior as it places you back at the start. Is this actually happening and if so what the fuck do I do to stop it?

EDIT :- Fourth time was the charm. Definetely glitched on me but just keep redoing it and it'll give it you eventually. Glad I had a mate to watch me else I'd have sworn I was just being dim.

I unlocked it no problem. First time, so not glitched for me..

just loaded up my save from yesterday, and completed the game...
not a single achievement poped >_< so something is glitched here atleast )=
