mission 9 confusion

during the chopper part, the giant bursts through a building and grabs the helicopter, looks at me, then punches me and im dead. i tried shooting his face, the hand he grabs with, and the hand he punches with, all with both rockets and machine gun but it doesnt do anything! whats worse is that I GOT THROUGH THIS BEFORE! this is my second run through, what did i do the first time!?

You shoot missiles at the hand holding your aircraft. Use Ninja Vision if you think you don't have enough time. It seems to take maybe...10-15?

, ninja vision was actually necessary on hard i guess, never thought to try it
