Should Cars really count as a racing game? Sure, it is a game about racing, but it is more of a family game.
I would also say that Hexic is harder than Bejeweled, but only because of one achievement =)
We will have to wait and see what GTAIV has in store, but that has to be one of the best places to find decent achievements. I think they may actually end up really bad because noone could decide which ones to have so they put them all in.
Nicely done Webbstein, or Minty, or both.

I just want to say congrats to everyone at the site, especially Minty and Webb. X360A has grown so much over the past year (for most of which I have been a part of the community or at least a forum troll.) and you both (Minty and Webb, mind you) deserve all the recognition and praise you are receiving lately.
My first post here, but I've been following this site for a while, especially for the great achievement guides and information! I've got to say, what a great year, and one thing I have to note about Bejeweled, that those achievements are just insane! I just have that stupid puzzle achievement, yet only 11 have completed that game! Incredible!
Congradulations for a year at X360A! And let's hope for another great year!

I would have to disagree with the "Hardest Shooter" award. I can understand that 5000 games is a LOT, and number 1 on the leaderboard (via boosting), is also very time consuming, however...
Chromehounds really does deserve to be the winner here. The valour achievements were mentioned to rival the likes of Quake, and rival them they damn well do! In the end, it would take a approximately 600 battles of perfect experience battles (requires a lot of skill and knowledge of the game) to get even 1 of these achievements. Now, I'd say you could do about 4 "quickie" matches in Quake in the time of 1 Chomehounds battle. Now let's work on estimated "raw" figures here assuming it takes the same amount of time for each and just say that it works out as 1250 quicky Quake battles versus 600+ perfect Chromehounds battles to get 1 achievement.
Okay, so that means we're quarter done in Quake, and have 1 out of 6 valour achievements in Chromehounds. Of course, the Chromehound valour achievements are all different, and some have not even been got yet as they do actually vary a lot and even 600 perfect battles is not enough to describe them.
And let's not forget that Chromehounds also has some "number 1" achievements for each war that require hours of excessive boosting. Finally, no one has yet got the 1000 in Chromehounds, where at least Quake has a small handful to have done it.
I don't mean to fully go outright against what was chosen, as I completely understand how Quake can be there too. I'm just merely stating my opinion on the matter and giving a bit of evidence to support it.
Anyway, that was indeed an interesting read and I would truly enjoy to read more articles of similar content in the future. (Or the next awards for next year).
EDIT: One small question. What game is the 5th achievement pic along the line from the "Best looking achievement picture" category from?
Good stuff as always guys.
I'm in agreement on GTA IV for potential, but also will be curious to see what comes from Bioshock and Mass Effect. Whatever happens - it's looking like a good year to be a 360 owner.
Oh, and you should have had a Sad Waste Of Life award which would have been won by Rumble Roses. LOL

We did think about it- for anyone that nominated Halo 3 for everything
Fonkey- the COD pic won it because of the symbolism and how when you sit back after doing the campaign and unlocking that pic- you want to light up your cigar and party lol.
Majority of the awards are hwat people voted for- just some we used the powers to override on. These are what the majority of users went with, but not everyone will agree
Awesome work Minty, Webb, and everyone who voted, it's the Oscars of Xbox! This will be huge next year, more categories, more games, more crazy achievements, we should start brainstorming now...
"The one everybody said would never happen" - NBA Live 1000 online
Well the dude told me to send it over, so we'll have to wait and see
Cheers for the kind words people

You can get 200 in Galaga in about an hour while UNO's 4 human player's achievement will take more time. BUT... that's just my 2cents.
I think Galaga is much more difficult to get the 200 in. We're not talking about how much time it'll take here, we're talking about the "easiest" 200. I'm sure a skilled Frogger player could get all the achievements in 1 go! As with Time Pilot, Pacman etc. and probably be able to do it in about half an hour really. But we're not talking about how quick the game could be to beat for a particular person.
Overall, UNO is the easiest regardless of time. Besides, Galaga is sort of kicked out because of it's perfect bonus achievement anyway. Regardless of how quickly you can get it, it still is challenging, and that is why UNO comes in first.
It was love at first site(get it?) anyway, this is a great place for achie. special eeeee for me since some games come up with secret achie which is stupid as hell i say.

Can i u get this to work?
First off... Incredible list... but I disagree on one category.... Did anyone at all consider Dead or Alive Xtreme 2 as one of the most ungodly difficult games to get 1000 on. I have researched and researched this game... but it seems like it would have to be my every waking breath to even begin on these achievements. Does anyone on this board have all the achievements for this game? Even close... I will have to go take a look.

The voting for this was done before that game came out.
I am sure you could find this out somewhere else like...in this thread! Ill answer it anyway these were awards decided upon by this site for things like the easiest 1000 in a sports game hardest 200 in an arcade game. They were decided in February so this thread should be closed, maybe with a summary at the bottom for users that cant search things.

Alright thanks, i just didn't see if in this forum, so i just asked, and this thread should be locked(I agree)!!
Is there any way to see the achievement awards from last year. I found the page linking to it on this site but it only sends me to an error page. The second annual achievement awards were posted recently, but it does not mention what won in the first annual achievement awards.
