Please clarify if it's minimum number of players needed to get achievements or just to start up a match, cause Turok needs 16 players to unlock 1 achievement.

Gears of War 1 is 6 players to start the game and max is 8.
Gears 2 is 10 players to start the game.

For battlefield 2 mc i did a bunch of achievements with 2 other guys. You don't need 6 people.

Agreed. Right now it's kind of ambiguous.

left 4 dead does not need 8 players in order to start a game, it could be 1 on 1, and the surviving team will be all bots.

I like the concept, but you should point out after the game title minimum number of players needed to unlock certain achievements (to 100% the game). Half Life: Orange Box doesn't need 8 players to start, but it does need 8 players to unlock 1 achievement (Friends like These...) so you would put Half Life: Orange Box (8 players needed to unlock 1 achievement) or Turok (12 to 16 players needed to unlock 2 achievements).

Rainbow Six: Vegas 2 requires 2 players to start a match, although most of the achievements are with 6 players.
Skate 2 can have a game with 2 players, i boosted on a spare account.

This is a definate good idea for a thread, im gonna buy a game soon and am gonna look on here for a good 'boosting game'. haha.

Why not list them alphabetically then next to each game put in sets of brackets

(x to start ranked) (x to earn achievements)

x being the number of players.

Carbon only requires two. Also, I can assure you that Battlefield: Bad Company does not require 6 people to start a match nor does Battlefield 2. BF:BC games will begin with 3 people. BF2 can be done with 2.

Maybe i should change the "Grouping", to Games that can be boosted by 2 players, not how many players to start. Because for Example L4D u can start with 2 but can you actually boost with 2? Don't know what do you think guys.

That would be preferable. Yes, in L4D you can boost with only 2. I see what you mean though and I definitely think this list should be geared more towards achievements.

I recall starting up a player match with 3 people so it's possible. I'll double check. Come to think of it, the box would list the range of players required, right?

great idea, mate. this will be very useful to me. i will also provide any information i can to add to the list.

unreal 3 for example, there is only one achievement that you need 6 players (equal opportunity destroyer). the others, including the 500 ranked wins can be boosted with only 2.

edit: also, for kane & lynch, it´s 4 players to start a game, and you need 5 for one achievement (double trouble).

another edit: i noticed you put far cry 2 on 6+ players, but this is incorrect. you can launch a ranked game with only 2 people, and boost for xp and kills that way if you want. you will need 3 players to boost multikills for the "soldier of misfortune" achievement and revives for "field hospital". it is also faster to boost for xp with 3 people. and one achievement "war party" that you need 16, as you wrote on the list.

Blacksite needs AT LEAST 4 people. I cannot be boosted with 2+. I've been working on trying to get 4+ [people to finish that game up now for well over a year... Figured I'd just give you a heads up on that.

For Kanes Wrath you only need 2 people to do all but one achievement, Team Player, it takes 4.

Why is CoD4 there? theres no achievements TO boost, and if youre talking about challenges these can be done with 2 players in Cage matches
