Mission 2 "Pre-emptive Strike"

How the hell am I suppose to clear LV.2 at a Flash Shot rate over 4.25? I can't do that. I don't know what to do. There are no forums that gives out that detail.

What I have done at the end of the levels against the boss, is die at the boss, then continue, and then just bomb the crap out of him.

Seems to reset your flash rate.
