Regenerating Health?

Im doing the submarine challenges and when I get hit I cant figure out exactly how to replenish my health,This can be done in subs and ships right? Am I doing something wrong what do I need to do?

I don't think you can replenish your health. If you can than I missed something. I know you can 'stop the bleeding' so to speak with damage control on fire and floods but I don't know if there is any health regen.
