Absolutely amazing work, my favourite is the Mass Effect one. You should make a tutorial.

Thanks man I may get back into tut making, the mass effect one is rather simple, just smudging, displace filter, liquify and a few lighting tweaks.
I will probs try and make a few written tuts and maybe a PSD pack

Sounds good, I look forward to it. I have a question though, how did you do the scanlines? Mine never seem to turn out as good as yours.

I take the pencil tool (behind the brush tool in PS) hold down shift button and drag the pencil along to get straight lines. As shown below
![]() Then go filter, blur, motion blur. Make sure the angle is set to 0 and then just change the distance, I set mine to 81 and got the following ![]() Now you just change the blending mode to suit the sig, soft light or overlay usually works best, you can also lower the opacity to make it fit right. Below is the same lines just set on soft light, it doesn't add much to this sig, but it just gives it another wee detail.

A few of them have topaz, the 'topaz look' can be done using high pass filter and a few blurs tho lol.

Saw District 9 yesterday and fancied making a sig, however couldn't really find any decent stills to make a sig with. So I just went for something simple

Your work looks amazing.
Is there any way you could whip me up a sig of a mixture of Modern Warfare (1 or 2) and some zombie from Left 4 Dead (1 or 2)? I guess kind of like a half and half sig...if that makes any sense, haha. If you can do it, really any zombie would work...I just have an obsession with zombies :-D

Little Thing
Hi, i read on the Signature Request thread that basicly, to sum it up in short. You were occasinally going to do requests in your gallery.
I love your work, checking out your gallery, my favourites would be your current one you use now, and the M. Bison one. very nice work. To sum it up, id like to request a signature (if its not too much trouble) If i may, id really like a Ninja Gaiden 2 one, the use of Ryu Hyabusa would be nice i suppose.. i havent really thought this out so i dont have a plan to be exact.. but if you'd be happy to just go with your imagination or any Cut you find of Ryu, that would be cool i suppose.. suprise me

@Ravezee: Sorry but I'm always a little reluctant to make sigs for people with one post. If you stick around a post for a while then maybe I can get round to it. I don't normally have a post count rule, but I've known too many people sign up with multiple accounts to get more sigs for them.
@Danny: I started PS back in 2004, made a bit of a name for myself in graphic forums with tuts, psds and I was the co-admin at a rather large site for 3 years. I kinda lost my desire to make stuff, when you're an admin of a site it was more about commenting and maintaining the site. So the work above is the most amount of sigs I've made in about 2 and half years lol. |

If you follow tuts and have sum patience you can produce sum really good work in no time. Believe me I'm not that good, I'm happy with what I do, I know others who started around the same time as me produce alot better work and have gone on to produce some really nice abstract pieces, photo manips and large art. Whereas I'm just lazy and I like the small stuff lol.

What's topazing and what does it do?
Awesome sigs, by the way.

Topaz can turn shit into gold lol
You can see it in the Zombie sig I made the other day, if you notice the render has very sharp crisp lines. It can sharpen as well as soften an image. Topaz vivacity is a plug in for Photoshop, it's been around for years. But you also get alot of Topaz haters out there, sometimes you can over use it and basically you rely too much on the plug in. But at the end of the day if you get a nice result why not use it. |
