HD Video Problem

A few months back, I was playing Burnout Paradise on my Plasma TV in HD using component cables. I was using a refurb from microsoft. Then randomly, the screen went black and my tv said 'no input signal'. I turned it back on, and it just stayed black. So then I tried resetting the video settings, and it started up, but it was pink and green. Then, I brought it back down to the tv I normally use, wish is standard def, and it worked fine.

I recently bought an LCD tv to replace it though and have been experimenting with settings trying to fix it. I determined that if i reset the video settings, it will start up pink and green, then it will get to the dashboard and be odd colored. If I move around in the dash, the screen will go black and the tv will say either no signal or invalid format, if the item I am on has a complicated picture. Then once i start a game, it goes black and wont show video on start up unless i reset the video settings again.Also, it plays audio the entire time.

One more thing i found odd was that if I unplug the AV cable while it is on, it just restarts and if I turn it on with no AV cable attached, it turns on as normal. It doesn't flash the 4 red lights like it should.

possibly the video card on the Xbox is going out. (since u have tried multiple TV's) are you sure you've got all the wires hookedup right?

but in all honesty it sounds like you'll get RROD or E74 soon.

i know it's not what you wanted to hear but that looks awesome lol.

but i agree with Smurff. Most likely the video card going or RROD/E74. which actually isn't what you wanted to hear either. sry.
