How to activate MZ
I played and finished the original game on my old profile. I deleted my old save and profile a long time ago and made a new one. Today I saw MZ for download so it I wanted and downloaded it. However when I start the game with my newer profile it starts me off at the very beginning of the game. Is there a way I can start off at the beginning of MZ? btw this is my first DLC purchase of Fallout

Like all the DLC you will pick up a radio signal on your pipboy. You don't just start off in a random area you have to goto a place in the wastelands and interact with signal. Once you get to the alien crash site you will get abducted, point outlook you have to get on a boat and the so forth. Sadly there is no way to get to any of the DLC straight from the vault your going to need to get out of the vault and make your way to the signal.
I'm assuming the signal will be picked up once you leave the vault not inside. |

You can skip most of the Vault 101 begining, by escaping when a baby.
Although your character will be about 12" tall, you gotta get your pip-boy from Lucas Simms (Megaton), which you can't see anyway so you have to use it from memory and sound. I tried it yesterday. It's hilarious attacking people, I had the Armored Vault suit and a sword. I ran to the abduction site got abducted and then got bored. Oh yeah one more thing, when you die your character goes all messed up Mr. Fantastic like. One of the funniest glitches I've ever seen. |
