Solo Bass Career?

Solo Bass Career? Can it be done? Seems to default to Guitar Career.

Nope, the first Rock Band never had a Bass Career and since all the track packs are based upon the RB1 engine you're stuck with having to play the Guitar/Drum/Vocal Careers only.

Which is a shame because the bass parts on these country songs are a ton of fun to play.

Seems like quite a waste! To have the bass tracks there for a full band but limiting access to those tracks... what kind of logic is that?

And is it me, or are the hammer-on notes different (read: harder to differentiate)?

They're not limited. Go into quickplay if you want to play bass.

Besides, if World Tour has taught us anything, bass careers can go fuck off and die.

Again, it's because of the game using the RB1 engine/resources. RB1's HO/PO notes were hard to pick out considering they look the exact same as the regular notes just less wide. I can see how people who started with RB2 and went back to RB1/Track Packs would be be confused as to why they're different.

At least RB doesn't have these stupid open notes. Give me 2 more fret buttons but please take those horrible lines away.

Well this stinks. My big plan was playing bass on expert for playing the solo tour on expert achievement. I can play some guitar on expert, but definitely not all. I can play like 99% of bass on expert. Definitely can't do vocals or drums on expert.

I also don't have anyone to do the band achievements with. Looks like I won't be getting many achievements on this track pack.
