Demo this month, possibly the 18th! (Not according to MS!)

Xbox.com had the release date of the demo as Jan 18th, but they got rid of the exact date and just have January now. Hopefully it will still be on the 18th !

I'm excited to try this game. Of the few clips I've seen it really looks fun. We'll have to see if that translates over into fun game play.

Yeah...I swear, I will cry if it doesn't come out on the 18th. The game should have been out long before now, so when I heard about the demo on the 18th it gave me a shred of hope.

Dear Mr. DaWebbmeister,

I have not read your link, because I don't want to lead myself into the sad realization that we wont have it on the 18th. I'm just assuming that your link states how awesome the game will be and to enjoy the demo....

(Okay, I'm not that oblivious, I'm just EXTREMELY pissed off, and don't care to read. If you delay the game 59,372,374,908 times, don't delay the damn demo...please)

Oh Webby, why did you have to screw up my day with that post ?!

What pisses me off is this: "The demo is complete and going through certification, but it won't be cleared for download for several more days. Microsoft promises that the demo will be available before the end of January ..." Now, if they say SEVERAL more days, where the f**k does the 'end of Jan' come from ? It's the 16th, so I'd figure that a few more days would mean the 20th, not the damn 30th ! Looks like JC and I will be using up quite a bit of kleenex boxes tonight ... And the night after .... and the night after that ...

Why set a date anyway? I understand seting dates on the release but why on a demo. More surprises the better.

Thats about as true as it gets, wow was that a heartbreak. Its now the 18th and knowing that I could be jumping from rooftops, throwing cars, and making things explode really makes me want to cry...
