Marketplace Question...

I've come to understand Europe and US have separate servers. I'm currently in the US and was waiting impatiently for the download around 3AM (GMT -7) last night. Reading around the forums, I found a link to the marketplace website where I was able to successfully charge and download to my queue. While downloading, I noticed the URL contained en-GB. Not en-US.

My question: Does anyone know if the region is based on location/IP or coded into the game itself? Will I be playing on US servers, or stuck crossing the seas with higher pings?

i've been waiting all day to get into a game and finally managed to get into a europe game through a friend. if your lucky you should be able to come to the North american servers.
