Loading Times

Although it is a matter of time until someone brought this issue up, i thought i would bring it up now.

I don't know if it gets any better at all if you redo the game on a different difficulty but whenever you die, you select 'Load the last saved game' and then it says "Loading saved game..." and then it goes onto the Quake 4 loading screen and then your ready to play. It takes a full two minutes each time you die. Does the loading time change at all when you are on general because if it doesn't...i can picture myself sitting at my xbox ripping my hair out over and over again. Any information you want to give me, please post below.

Nope, no changes. The loading times in Q4 are a bit long.

Yup The Loading Time Sucks. I Would Love To Have The Same Loading Time As Call Of Duty 2 (5 Seconds). I’m Always Dying In General Mode So Most Of My Time I'm Waiting For The Game To Load.

Yeah it can be a pain, but I'm sitting here with music and the net to keep me occupied As long as you have something interesting it's not too baad because it doesn't go straight into the game.

Hopefully in this generation of gaming you'll see a lot less of Loading Screens. And ya it does slow down the pace in Quake 4. This game is suppose ot be fast paste but loading screens interupt that action.

Taking into account the amount of times which I die...that would be one hell of a lot of sandwiches :P

lol is that really a question. But yeah you probably have depending on how good/bad you are.
