but at the end of the day i cant stop playin it and even trying to play other games i still end back on this game time and time again (-_-)

my only bitch about this game is the skill matching on matchmaking i mean im sure there are more people closer to my level i mean i had a few matched where there were 3 100's and 2 80's on one team and i had myself and a bunch of 20's i was like yea this is so fucking fair. And the other team was not in a party

BUT this pathetic fucken shit game lets me know everytime i load it up WHY i got rid of it when i first got it over a year ago, and somehow i'm a dumb cunt enough to keep buying it and renting thinking 'yesh it's gweat' fucken stupid game is on casual, and i'm getting pwned from every where. casual my dick, && for that matter this game is ONLY good for horde, the story SUCKs and the controls SUCK. fuck you gears 2 fuck you gears 3. worthless.

I absolutely hate the Annex: Now With Execution Rules achievement and always being on the wrong map and once I'm in the right map in the wrong team and when I'm in the right team the host quits etc.
Also the voting system doesn't really help towards that achievement and neither does the possibility of getting the right map being 5% or 2,5% for getting the achievement.

A week ago I needed to win on 7/8 maps on Annex required for that achievement and I spent 2 hours just playing Annex voting for the right maps, but the right maps NEVER showed up. The days afterward I won on 6/8 needed maps and I now only need to win on Canals. I got the opportunity to win the match on Canals yesterday but I lost 175 - 180. That was so frustrating, I've never seen Canals since until today, when I suffered from lag and a team that didn't really know how to win an Annex match. I decided to play just one more match, again the option of getting Canals but Gridlock is chosen instead with a 3-4 difference. I hate Epic Games for creating this achievement.

Except that, the game is awesome. Great graphics, nice campaign, cool horde and enjoyable multiplayer as long as you're not trying to get this annoying achievement.


EDIT: I have the achievement now, YES! I love Gears of War 2!

That is what i said, right after Gears 2 sent me crying to mommy about how stupid the devs are that created this game. I have spent more time bitching about this piece of shi* game, than i have actually spent gaining EXP and I'm a level 21!!!

Gears 2 has its moments, and they last all of maybe...30 seconds...then its right back to some bullshi* enemy, sixth-senseing my ass from around a corner with his God-like chainsaw/shotgun!!

Someone, anyone...please tell me how people enjoy this crap!!

gears has a HUGE learning curve. It's not a game you can pick up and dominate in a few weeks. It took me like 6 months before I was any good.

Most gamers give up because of the difficult learning curve since it's not like cal of duty, which you can be dominating people after your first 3 games.

I'm tired of listening to people bitch about not being able to completely dominate everybody in this game. Seriously, it seems like a vast majority of vocal players are convinced that they are the godliest person ever to lay hands on a controller. While there are quite a few idiots in this game's community, expecting to destroy everybody right off the bat is unrealistic. It makes me think that a lot of these complaints are from one or two bad matches as opposed to an overall trend.

I stopped playing Gears over a year ago because of the glitchy, lagging online play and there was just better gaming experiences out there. I decided to go ahead and try to knock out a bunch of the achievements (Horde & at least Guardian and Annex since I was so close) to get the game as close to finished as I could. But the most pathetic development staff a lot of money can buy has decided in their infinite wisdom that their customer base doesn't matter that much. I've been known to speak with my wallet, refuse to buy Bioshock 2 and Army of Two: The 40th Day (among others) for various reasons, good chance I may just say f*ck GoW3 as well.

Stupid f'n EPIC (hope your company crumbles!!!) and screw Cliffy B's arrogant @$$! I think the thing that pisses me off the most is that this is suppose to be one of the flagship franchises for the 360 and yet it has had more glitches and lag than most of the rest of the games I have ever played on the 360 combined!

anyways was trying to play GoW2 today and take advantage of the extra XP, but every game i played Annex, hording, and any other MP game was glitchy to the point of not even worth sitting through to gain experience, just wondering if I was the only one that this happened to? Fuck so started playing PGR3. A fucking racing game, lol.

I have nothing bitch about the actual game, but why do so many players just NOT revive their fallen teammates? The most frustrating thing is bleeding out next to a player as he ignores me and just keeps shooting. I either sit there while everyone else gets kills right in front of me, or I sit there while everyone else on my team gets destroyed because they couldn't take a second to increase their odds of victory. Some people actually walk by my bleeding-out character and do nothing, even out of conflict! You even get +50 xp from reviving someone! I always take the opportunity to! How could you not?

Anyways... please revive your teammates. Its the right thing to do. The end.

I was close to the Way Station achievement except two people were idling at Wave 20 and everyone left. I wish there was an option to boot someone for being inactive for 2 minutes.

I finished the campaign once and was thinking this was worth more than the 12 bucks I payed for it (I traded in Dead Space, not because I don't like it, but because I don't feel the need to play it again). Then I tried going for a couple multiplayer achievements. ALL dlc required to play AT ALL? It's the worst bullshit I've seen in any game I've played, and that includes the supposedly awful Perfect Dark Zero.

Nope. Play ranked, but don't choose any of the "Map Packs" options.

Very true. I haven't played in 9+ months come back and they reset me to a 1. GoW 1 was the only semi decent game they made, this company is going to crumble. I am getting ready to get rid of xbox live cuz of how many hackers there are nowadays. With GoW, Halo3, CoD. Not enough fun, just all BS.

Epic isn't going to crumble. I'm pretty sure they made boatloads of money from Gears 2 and all of its DLC.
