Easiest way by far to get all 17 cards for every deck!

Got this from gamefaqs and works like wonders
Go to custom duel, press x and change your life to 40 and the opponents life to 20, your cards to 9 his to 5...
You get it

To level up the white deck I played against Garruk, cause he takes long to actually do something...^^ and without many cards...
I also took out unecessary cards that would prevent damage or heal me since I got more than enough HP^^
P.S.:
It won't show u the unlocke card after the match is over, but trust me it's there when u build ur deck

I prefer to play against the campaign decks because they don't have any of the unlocked cards.

All you have to do to boost with a friend is to concede. You still get to unlock cards with the other person quiting as soon as the match starts. I've leveled up my white, blue, red and am now working on black against Ajani.
White, blue and red took me about 5-7 minutes a game to win. Green takes far longer against Ajani.

White, blue and red are quick since Ajani cannot block against flying creatures.

I don't recommend changing you hand to 9 since you'll just have to discard something anyway. Change it to 8.

That setting should be your 'maximum hand size', meaning that at the end of each turn, you'd have to discard to 9 and not 7. 9 should be fine.

only setting is 'opening hand size'

My thoughts exactly sir, I already finished off the campaign with the Green, and Green Black decks, I'm about to start on the Red. I might use this for the white deck, which sux IMO. I used to play MTG and I never really liked using white alone, in combination (white/blue) it's good, but alone it's tough to get a really good deck together.

Once you beat it once it's not really worth playing again, since you also unlock cards on XBL matches.

Considering that you have to win a total of 115 matches to unlock all cards for all decks, I'd say yes, this is the more fun way of doing it. Especially for unlocking decks you don't particularly like to use.

I'd rather do it like this for all the decks I don't use. I unlocked 10/17 of my black deck on ranked. Screw doing that with the other decks.

Honestly, I've been using it quite a bit and the White Deck is pretty good. The creatures in it follow the Mana curve nicely and between Pacifism, Glorious Anthem and Holy Day you get some pretty solid support from the get-go. I didn't use to play White much, being mostly a Blue/Black player, but I'm warming up to it.

No, The fastest way to unlock all of cards is play VS with your friends and let he/she don't play anything by pressing Y. You play only and let beat yr friend. You got a card!!

I won a bronze in the Olympics, and I did it by having fun. Anyhow...

Yeah, Garruk and Ajani Goldmane are best for boosting your deck.

Garruk - No flying creatures, no counterspells, high creatures costs
Ajani - Using 3 colored deck means he cannot build a strong army fast, no flying creatures

Only thing about Ajani is his irritating obsession with Bull Cerodon and Wooly Throctar, but then again they can be eaily countered by most decks. I just prefer Garruk because he doest insist on incinerating your creatures.

How do you unlock new cards? I noticed you can during the campaign BUT do you have to use each deck to beat each AI...OR...can I keep playing one AI to get all the cards at once (just play them 17 times) [I guess I could find out for myself but I'm away from my xbox right now]

I must say though...I like the game alot...I used to play a shit load 5 years back, its just great to see ALOT of cards that I remember using (6th-8th edition cards and the expansions during those times). This game makes me feel EXTREMELY guilty for selling all my good rare cards (I miss my Avatar of Woes the most)

Thanks in advance...b/c I was playing each AI w/ each deck and some of these pre-made decks just blow (Making our own decks would be pretty sweet but it might not be too bad NOT having it b/c atleast everyone will be somewhat on the same page...I'd hate to see someone having a deck of great cards vs. the red goblin deck...plus its not a 'money sink'...well not yet

It works if you always play/win against the same opponent, too.

exactly, you buy the game to have fun, the achievements are there to make you feel accomplished lol.

Edit: I'm going to retract my statement because after beating it legit (Campaign) for the second time, all I gotta say is it takes too long. I just wanna have fun now on XBL...do you unlock cards for winning online?

I won 5 ranked games and a couple player matches. I also did custom matches against the CPU. In all those instances, I never unlocked a new card !! The only way I can unlock cards is by beating campaign opponents over and over again.

Is it due to a new patch ? Or am I missing something ??!

Have you actually checked the decks in the Edit Deck screen? The game, for some reason, doesn't display that you've unlocked card in certain types of matches, even though you have.
