League Servers Down

I was just online and appears the League option is not available anymore. I contacted the top ranked players and they confirmed this. There is a message, and in the message it states "momentary" but i know this is bullshit, replace that word with "buy 2k9 to play in a league."

There are 3 achievements totaling 80gs which involve joining/participating/winning in a league.

The other streak and total win achievements are still obtainable but only ranked matchs count toward the leaderboard and achievement.

I ran into many players playing so it is still an acive online game and its a real shame they turn certain features off to make you buy the newest version.

Good to know. I was going to pick up this game later this week, but I will reconsider it now that the full 1000 isn't obtainable.

It sucks because this was the only MLB I was missing from the series.

Do the tournaments not work as well?

Leagues and tournaments are offline. Ranked matches still work, though they are glitchy as all sh**.
