find it hard playing with others
hey guys, i play ALOT, and while my single player side of gameing is doing fine, i find it really really hard to play with others
this is not due to other people, its all me. like the other day i was playing res 5, and someone wanted to play me, very nice of them. but i turn my online status to off as for some reason i cant explain. in groups iam kinda ok but still i wont really bo one of thos players who find it easy being social on xbox live  mabey its just me,

yea playing with randoms is MEH! i would prefer people who i kno a little so i kno their not a douche team killer

Hey man... No worries. I feel the same way. I really want to play online with others but have had bad experiences the one time I did. REALLY want to play some L4D online though.

I guess if you're really social in real life you can convert over to live. Similarly I guess if you meet a right douche online, chances are they're a douche in real life!

Hey Sixthbrick! Welcome aboard!
I have the same problem. Sometimes, if I want to play online, I have to psyche myself up for a little while beforehand. I can find it quite intimidating. Also, I will quite often go offline just to avoid contact with the people on my friends list. Although, I suffer from clinical depression, so sometimes I know that it is safer to block myself away. In general though, I haven't found playing online to be as fun as I would have hoped. Maybe I have just been unlucky, but a lot of people (not all of course!!!) seem so aggressive and nasty minded, and I did come up against a lot of haters. Having said that, I had some fantastic times online with Beautful Katamari. The game didn't really atrract aggressive or hateful people. I guess a lot of it depends on the game being played, and it really helps to have a good friends list of people who want to play and have fun without being nasty. Being competetive is fair enough, but so many people seem to go beyond that. I'm trying to be a bit 'bolder' online, but I guess it will take time. So I wish you luck! I hope you find many nice people to play with!

Welcome to the site. I know what your talking about though with playing online. Which makes achievements a pain for me, as I'm kind of a completionist.

You just have to get used to playing with complete strangers is all. I felt the exact same way but before long the strangers I didn't want to game with became friends, etc etc. Take the plunge and enjoy xbl. Welcome to the site.

First and foremost, welcome to x360a! Secondly, I can play with anyone. I'm just naturally vibrant and outgoing. When I get my xbox back, I'd be more than happy to play something with you.
