tons of multiplayer achievements..:\
and the single player achieves aint that good either....but im getting this game anyway, loved the last one

It definitely won't be an easy 1000. Well I can't really say that, but I can say it won't be a quick one. It will take some time to get all those multiplayer ones. Definitely not a good one for the GSL!

Yeah i was looking forward to this one but now im kinda not, these game developers are so stupid, if the acievements were easier id buy it, probably still will but ill wait til i trade a game in mabey party animals or something, mabey have to wait about 2 months after launch day to get it.

This is gonna take a lot of work on the achievements. I wish there were more campaign achievements but ah well.

I had the first one of this game for the pc, even back then the graphics were great. Especially with blowing limbs off.

So, is this game any good? Some of you have played it on the PC, but I remember the old SOF franchise back on Dreamcast and though the dismembering with a knife was fun, the game was really crippled with exorbitant load times and dull level design. I won't mind boosting on this to get the achs because shooters are fun, but why do developers include those annoying, perfection-oriented achievements (Complete game w/out dying) in the list? If you're playing a shooter, one of the most liberating things is the general free-form nature to it--go anywhere, take your own path, kill or sneak on by the enemies unnoticed. It's antithetical to do anything 100% then, isn't it. Let's leave those quirky and NES-era notions on XBL Arcade where they belong. I wonder just how 'Hard' it is? COD 2-Veteran or Civil War-Hard?

I never touched the Dreamcast version, but I played the PC version for many years and still do. I wouldn't really base the game experience off of the console version because of course its not going to run as good as the PC. Patches, mods, and the infinite possibly of skins for your guns made the game so much more enjoyable.

I will most definitly pick this one up for PC because lets face it FPS shooters are best played with a keyboard and mouse.

I won't be picking this up at launch, but I may pick it up once the triple A titles are all out. (See "Assassin's Creed" etc)
I'm mostly interested in just how visceral this game can get.
The achievements do look a bit half-cocked in terms of single player, which is unfortunate considering I won't give this a second glance when I have Call of Duty 4 in the house

Achievment glich.

Speed Kills
20 Kill 5 enemies in 5 seconds in any game mode.

very easy to do.

If you cant reach it in Singelplayer.

Just shoot two or 3 NPC and save, open up a Costum Match and invite 2 Friends.

Kill him 2 twice and its done.

The system thinks 3 in SP an 2 in MP (but here it stop counting time)

Thats how it works to me.

NPC = Non-Player-Character.

I have this in the mail from Gamefly, but it probably won't be as good as the last one cuz Raven is not developing it. Double Helix for the xbox kinda sucked, so I hope this is a little better.

20 point secret achievment.....................Complete a Deathmatch without hurting anyone................can be done in player match just sit there and do nothing for 15 minutes and achievement unlocked.

ah, that explains why I didnt get the achievement, I did it twice, totalling 20 kills. I guess Ill just have to get the 5 tommarow.

Aim in Vain - Achieve a 25% vital zone hit ratio in a multiplayer match.

How do you get this? I've completed a match getting only headshots and I still haven't gotten this. Does anyone know how? Oh and what are the two secret achievements? Thanks in advance.

I'm not sure how I got it, but I was not going for head shots when it unlocked. I guess you just hit center mass (body) and make sure you don't waste a lot of ammo.

when i got this all i used was a knife all game and i shot at the ground with my pistol to get the reloading achievement. try that if u need to

Yup ^. I was in the room when he got this one. I got mine playing regularly in a Deathmatch killing normally.
