Hi I recently completed Crysis 1 on the 360 and really enjoyed it and I was wondering wether or not I should get this one?
I've heard a lot of people criticize the smaller, more compact levels (I loved the massive levels in the first game). I've also heard the MP is buggy, unbalanced Etc (And glitched achievments? Nooooooo!!!!). Oh and the fact that this game lacks a lot of the original characters, locations and enemies. But then I really want to know what happens with the plot.....but then I've heard the plot is awful, so.... Anybody got any suggestions? Should I skip Crysis 2 and save up for something like Batman AC. And none of my nearby video rental places have it

This game is great for the single player aspect, I mean, the graphics and the storyline is pretty darn epic. But, if you're looking for a multiplayer experience, it'll just make you rage. Too many cloaked campers, or armor rushers that Halo jump. I RAGE at Halo, because of how unrealistic it is, but this game is FAR WORSE then Halo. Halo 3 dominates this game for multiplayer in my opinion.
It's worth a rent. I just rented it from Gamefly, I've had it since Tuesday, and I'm almost done with an average of 3 hours a day, and I don't think, even if I had it, would play a second time. Batman would be your better option, since it seems to be a better single player experience. |

Though I do love Halo so maybe I'd have better luck with Crysis 2? Either way thanks for the advice!

Its no where near as hard especially if you are a stealth player. The visuals are amazing the gameplay is solid like you would expect from a shooter. As for the length the story is about 8hrs long |

Okay thanks. I've got enough shooters on my plate at the moment so I'll probably skip buying it and perhaps rent it.

Yeah it's worth buying alright. The singleplayer is ok, very boring at first but the multiplayer is brilliant and makes up for it.

Rent it don't buy it. Single player is fun, but the multiplayer is filled with glitches. I deleted my save because a single player achievement glitched on me, so I was just going to restart from the beginning and that somehow caused my MP stats to reset.

Really nice game but if you're looking for a full gamerscore, don't even think about it! There are 2 MP glitchy achievements and I still can't get one of them... I'm pissed.

I loved crysis 1 single player was wondering if I should buy crysis 2 as well. I want to do the campaign really bad and the MP be nice to break from my reach MP but my main concern was if theres a lot of people playing this or not? I don't mind theres glitchy MP achievements I'd play that for fun when bored lol

I enjoyed the HEEELLLL out of Crysis 2 that i also bought Crysis 1 thru Games on Demand......and YES, BOTH games are worth investing money into as they are not only superior looking, but FUN as hell for a shooter.

Crysis 2 has great looks but poor MP experince, if you want a 1000/1000 don't, 'i've played the 1st on PC and really enjoyed it, i recommend the 1st.

Yes, it is well worth buying. You should be able to pick it up on the cheap now due to it's age and more and more triple A titles have appeared since it's release.
I have both Crysis 1 & 2 and they are both good games in their own right. The multiplayer on C2 is pretty solid. Well worth a purchase IMO.

The Singleplayer is fantastic, and I don't think that there's any problem with the Multiplayer!

I recommend that you buy both of the games, they are epic. And play them on the hardest difficulty and make it a point to kill every enemy instead of sneaking past them, or else its probably not as much fun. If you're having problems getting used to the multiplayer, just stick around until level 20 and you'll probably get the hang of it. It's definitely one of the most original fps multiplayer experiences out there and once you're good at it it's fun as hell.

If you're unsure about it, rent it. Personally, I didn't care for it and I thought the video was awesome looking. I sold it not too long after i bought it. But that's me.
