Worth a rent?
I'm not a huge flight game fan, but this one caught my eye. Was just wondering if it's worth a rent or not.

it's a fun game, but probably not as easy to pick up and get into as HAWX
i would say try HAWX and if that leaves you wanting more pick it up |

I bought Ace Combat 6 yesterday with 1600 MS points bought some cool lookin planes & beat a couple missions I just gotta say its WAY better than HAWX could ever be.If you were wondering how much it only cost me $50-$55 including tax & thats the best $50 bucks I have ever used.

I'm on the other side of the coin from QUICKSHOOT up there. Only I paid $20 for the game. It is no where near as good as Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X. and no I don't work for UbiSoft. If you like cheesy Japanese anime type stuff with lousy acting then Ace Combat is for you. The gameplay is okay until you get to campaign 9. If you are a casual gamer you probably won't get past it. There are some retards out there that will tell you the game is sooo easy they completed it going Mach 23 while inverted the whole time with BB guns only. If you are looking for a flying game to try out check HAWX. Think of it as Rainbow Six Vegas 2 in the sky. It has way more pick up and play capability and you can do the whole campaign online with some buddies. The Blazing Angels series are fun arcade type flying shooters as well.

AC is definetly a rent, I loved the story line.
I also tried the HAWX demo and wasn't crazy about it. If you compare the HAWX demo and the AC demo, I really think AC is better. AC is more authetic with the flying controls, but HAWX is easier to pick up. You can't really easily compare them, but I pick AC over HAWX. |

the game is ""old"", you can find it used for 20$CAD or less easily
I haven't tried HAWX yet, but i've been a fan of the Ace Combat serie from 2 and upward and AC6 is definitly a buy, but it's worth mentionning you can find it cheap easily and in very good condition too. if you're going for the full 1000gs, you won't have enough time with a simple rent, that's for sure playing only for the story or aiming the full 1000gs, this game is really worth owning and not renting. |

Ace Combat is worth a purchase I was lucky to find it for 10 new about a year ago, this game makes HAWX look like a piece of shit.

It is worth the rent but I was quite disappointed because I didn't last long with AC6. Not a bad game though
