Gold Medals Question

i just got a gold medal on adventure1 but i couldn't get one on adventure2. i just went on with my silver medal and got a gold medal on adventure3.

if i go through the game and get gold medals, then start a new game and get that one gold medal on adventure2, will the achievement count?

and if you have to complete the whole game in one run with golds, could i have some tips on adventure2? i tried the guide by drunk y and it didn't work.
