Discuss the achievements, when they are revealed, in this thread.

Since this is the UM version of KOF98, the methods for unlocking Orochi Iori/Leona, as well as other characters, should be the same as the PS2 version (taken from GameFAQs)

Fighting and Unlocking Boss Characters

Eiji or Kasumi - Have 3-5 DM or SDM finishes by the fourth match

Goenitz - Have 3-5 DM or SDM finishes by the final fight

Omega Rugal - Fail to meet of the the above requirements

Orochi - Have 6-9 (S)DM finishes by the final figh

Rugal, Orochi Iori, or Orochi Leona - Have 6-9 (S)DM finishes and do not lose a singe round by the fourth match

Shingo - Fail to meet any of the above requirements

How do you choose Omega Rugal, Orochi Iori, and Orochi Leona on the select screen?

Select their portrait and hold the Back button. Their portrait will change. This works for anyone with an alternate version (like Kyo, Terry, etc).

I re-submitted the codes back up on gameFAQs to the 360 version. I however didn't submit the code for Shingo as I wasn't sure if it was less then three or six DM/SDMs you need to have. So if anyone wants to, feel free to submit it.

Looks like Eiji, Kasumi and Shingo are unlocked from the start, but you still encounter them if you fail to get the requirements for anyone else.
