how do you play this game?

Hey, im going for the 1000 GS and want to know whats the quickest way to get this over with.

Do I need to collect the full 250 trophies in order to unlock the last race as I am just going through at the moment picking up enough!

Well its simple. You click the ("A") button for the gas. The ("X") button for brake. And the left stick to turn. Then you read the directions on the screen.

really that simple? so what do the green blips on radar mean? what do the white ones means and what do the red ones mean teres nothing pointing to where i go next ive done the same races like 5 times now i dont know what else to do
