Ryot Control
I was originally building up to earn enough money to unlock all the upgrades available, and I was unaware that there was a 50 million credit cap. http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y218/Loveless54321/DSC01821.jpg Of course that made me a bit nervous since I knew that all the upgrades was well over 50 million. So I had to put together a spreadsheet of available upgrades. This is what I came up with for Russia with DLC. Numbers are multiples of 100,000 (Add three more zeros to the end and you get the actual value of the upgrade.) My intention was not to buy the most 2.1 million upgrades and the DLC upgrades just in case. The totals DO NOT include the numbers in white and when all 74 upgrades are added up, equals 49.3 million. http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y218/Loveless54321/DSC01823.jpg Now came the moment of truth, I started buying all the upgrades. Not including ones for mission supports and the command vehicle. Of course I was nervous as hell because if I wasted all that grinding on a glitched achievement I was going to BE PISSED. I missed the pulsing bubble achievement but had over 8-9 million left over when it did pop. The achievement will pop when you purchase your 60th upgrade in one session. http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y218/Loveless54321/DSC01824.jpg So yeah, final shots are proof that I unlocked it legit and that it is possible with ALOT of GRINDING. http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y218/Loveless54321/DSC01825.jpg http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y218/Loveless54321/DSC01826.jpg Edited May 4, 2009 by Ryot Control
Tonic24k
This confirmation is MUCHO appreciated. This was all just speculation and untested theorizing before you posted this. Now i know my efforts won't be for nothing. THANKS!!!
Tonic24k
According to Impaled Germ you can actually upgrade the command vehicle as well and it only takes roughly 28 mil. to buy 60 upgrades. I'm currently at 26.8 mil now and will get to 29 mil when I start. I'll post my results. Hopefully it will be later today. Tonic24k
In the Russian faction I ended up spending 28.1 million credits in order to buy 60 upgrades at one time and unlock Down To Size. It can possibly be done with only 27.8 million credits but I skipped over a 900 credit upgrade because it was a DLC upgrade and didn't want to take the chance of it not counting. And just to clear things up about the command vehicle, the upgrades DO count and makes it substantially cheaper to buy 60 upgrades.
g00se 2
so you have to get all upgrades at one time not buy 1 after every match then

GTAmissions1
How much money would I need if I got all 60 upgrades on the US Faction? And are ALL units that get bought upgrades count?
Baptized N Fire
F.Y.I. You can purchase the DLC upgrades and they count as well. I haven't tried mission supports, but I do know that the easiest way to do Down to Size is to be JSF and be the DLC battalion. It ends up being exactly 24.5 million which is much easier to get than any other faction.
