Easy Achievements?

Okay after playing the trial version and then looking at the achievements they seem like they can be done in 30 min or less. Can anyone confirm how easy the points are in this game?

I kinda enjoyed the trial and if the achievements are really easy I can spring for the game.

Im interested in this too cause I watched my friend play this and he got a perfect while getting to the 4th stage - he DELETED the trial game without considering it cause it was "too easy" - I so want to "one up" him by getting this and completing it cause this looks simple

I think it's easy if u can get the Boss achievements. I got 7 of 12 fairly quickly, it's definately not a game that will take all day.

I would have had all 200 points in under an hour if getting into Ranked Matches was easier.

Seriously, though, getting achievements in this game makes Dash of Destruction look hard. EASY achievements.

would be great if finding people to play were easy (i spent more time trying to get online than i did playing).

guess ill just wait till theirs a matchmaking thread :P

Agreed, it took me about 2 hours because I had trouble getting into the Ranked matches.

The Achievements are very Dash of Destruction like.

I own the Saturn and PS2 versions and this game mostly relies upon individual strategies in a multiplayer match.

These acievements are extreemly easy. I got all of these in about 50mins tops while playing on very hard through story lol.

Getting the achievments is relatively easy but controlling the cyberbots to the point that you can win a match against the (Japanese) people that roam around in ranked matches, is where the real challenge lies.

yeah I didnt know what the hell I was doing at all but figured it out enough to get the 200/200. FYI I had no issues at all getting the ranked games done in less than 15 minutes. It is a saturday though so that may be why. There were a ton of Japanese players on there (and they all kicked my ass LOL).

Very easy 200 GS. I was surprised. If you want a easy 200GS, this is a game to consider, a little pricey though.

yeah the japanese guys that play this are freaking impressive. i used to play the heck out of virtual on in the arcades. and back then i never lost (the arcade i went to just opened up the machine and gave me ten bucks in creds when i'd walk in XD ) but some of these guys are impressive as heck.

yknow what they say about the japanese. "they never do anything half assed"

I used to play this on Dreamcast NINE years ago

Thankfully I remembered the controls somewhat and still have enough skill to tackle a lot of the Japanese rivals or at least make them break a sweat!

Super easy achievements. And super fun. Going online after you get the hang of it though is really fun and challenging. This is an awesome port.

this is one of the easiest arcade games I have ever played. but for some odd reason. i enjoyed playing it. for anyone willing to spend 1200 MSP...it is a must buy

IMO it's easier than dash of destruction, only because you don't need a second controller. I collected 9 achievements just by spamming triggers, then after i died a couple of times on the final level I found out there is a third attack type - suggestion: adjust your control scheme first, so you know what buttons to press.
I was lucky enough to find a couple of Japanese guys online with over 2000 wins each, so they really destroyed me, but once I found another "noob" (he played and lost 3 matches compared to my 7 at the time) and i managed to end my career with a 1-9 score.
800 MSP - 45 minutes - 200G - delete game? - Yes

All in all, a fun game, but not really my cup of tea, entertained me between breakfast and work.

So the game is on sale this week for 800 MSP ($10), and I bought it. Does anyone want to trade the ranked matches achievements? I completed one ranked match, I need nine more, but I can play an extra if you need all ten.

I picked this up when it was 800 MP and don't regret it at all. Definitely the easiest 200 GP I've ever earned, put it's a fun, quick and addicting little game. I love popping it in from time to time just to do a quick online match or arcade run-through. Nothing beats an old school SEGA arcade port...here's hoping we get more of them!
