Amazing Idea
I just had an epiphany folks. Now before you start saying, "You can't do that in vBulletin", I think it is actually possible. I think it would be awesome if there was this button added to the forum so that people could look up something before they post to see if it had already been posted. It could be a little button near the top of the forum and could possibly be even called the Find button, or maybe the Look button. If Routine had the time to add something like this, just maybe we could cut down on all of the double/triple topics on the same thing and keep the forums a little less cluttered. I don't know, what do you guys think?

Nice!
But I'm not keen on the name.. I was thinking more of a 6 letter word. "Locate" maybe? I dunno. It could have extra functions too, like, making the results visible by post or thread. Dude, that's a great idea, but I don't think it'll be put in place tbh ![]() Noone would ever use it.

Little thing at the top called "Search", if that don't work click on the arrow and try "advanced search". If you were thinking of something more complicated I don't know if that would work all too well but I'll leave that up to the admins to decide.

LOL! Is this like a joke thread or something? (Hint: it's at the top of the page under "Search"
)

We already have this feature and hardly anyone uses it.

This is possible, AVSForum does it. When you type a title for a new thread, it automatically does a keyword search and lists a few of them right below where you typed.
Seems like it would be pretty taxing on a server though. |
