Platinum champ is impossible.

I have yet to see anyone complete this game with all Platinums. Sure some of us got Platinum Medals or even Trophies, but completing the game on Platinum is very unrealistic. I would like to see someone achieve this.

Nah I know St TheKing personally(I'm like the sh!t at Quake 4 and Quake 4 has some hard to unlock achievements so he likes to play with the pwnerers lol) he is one person he plays less than most people but I think he plays and nights and weekends he has a social life because hes like o i got to go to a party or something like that lol.

Near the point at completing the game with Gold Medals, and I must say Im chuffed to nuts Ive gotten that far really! Taken me almost 40 hours to get to this point and I doubt I will ever get all the plats. Combination of not enough time and not enough patience! There are a few out there with the plats achievement though.

youve just got to be good at driving games and have the patience. for me personally, getting the game on silver was enough, and iv got 1 gold and 2 platinum trophies to know that i and do it. (1 of the platinum is the ring series ;D)

you shouldnt have wasted your time on gold just get the plats and you get the rest of the achievements. might take you longer but why got through the game so many times.

I know some people with the game finished on Platinum, but most of them played PGR2 a lot so they know the Gameplay very well.

i dont think its that hard. first 2 corners are the moast important tho. if your behind after them your chances are slim

trust me, its tough! even on Gold. I find that its not always the best all-round cars that get you through at the fastest time. I had to experiment with the Concept Cars, the F50 GT and the F1 McLaren. A few knocks in the barriers and you're done for! lol

im not saying its not hard, i reckonyou can make maybe 2 mistakes or take 2 knocks a race tops, like you say. but its certainly not impossible. took me about 5 goes to win on each of the ring circuits on platinum. the thing you have to do is learn the courses

But one the ring circuits is huge and it's impossible to know every corner.

dunno, the rings been on most driving games for the last 4/5 years lol. helps when youve been round it in real life i guess ;D

i like it, the tracks fairl similar. shortening it wouldnt work. would kinda be like giving the ferraris a top speed of 80 so their easier to drive

If you're reffering to Nürburgring Nordschleife, I've been an F1 and Le Mans fan all my life and I've watched countless races on that course, not to mention played it so I pretty much have it memorized. It's not hard to memorize the turns to a course. Much the same sence of remembering the quickest route to school or your home. It's all about repetition.

the Ring tends to be better known by teh Europeans, as like you say F1 etc being shown on Tv, where as f1 tends not to be watched much in he States.

yeah, but F1s more popular in Europe than the USA- they tend to like NASCAR (dont get the fascination, but hey)

I'm about 75% of the way through the game on Platinum...

Yes, I am having problems but it's not by far impossible. But I play every racing game that hits the market (or try to) so I have much experience with the general conept of the physics engine they use. But even then, i still know plenty of people that are quite capable of the same thing.
