Rose...WTF?!

I cannot beat Seth with Rose. Doesn't matter what I do. I've beaten Arcade with everyone but her. Even on Easiest, I can barely land one hit and then he just destroys me. I mean literally, he doesn't stop hitting me. I can't even recover. She is completely worthless-nothing lands, she has no range, and nothing works. How the hell are you supposed to finish it with her???

Seriously, there's literally DOZENS of threads with Seth strategies, just use the goddamn search function, it's not there just for decoration.

Yes...I did search. And I'm calling your bluff on the "dozens" of Seth threads. But whatever...I haven't been here in a while, should have remembered that everyone's a gigantic prick here.

Try learning her moves maybe? Try looking at the strategies mentioned to beat Seth, it's not difficult

Searching would be useful if im honest..
Anyway.. its easy to beat Seth with Rose.. just jump forward and HK, then Low HK (or DF MK), walk back abit. And repeat.

Beating Seth with Rose is a piece of cake!
I even got the Save Your Quarters and World Champion achievements (both in the same game session!) with Rose.
You just need to learn to use her high kick attacks and do her Ultra Combo which has a long reach and that shoudl fry Seth's ass.

Here's the strategy I use with everyone I suck at. It isn't 100% effective, but it works eventually if you get the timing right.

First, we really want to get Seth flat on his back. Start the match my jumping at him with a high roundhouse kick, and follow it up with a low roundhouse to knock him on his back. (A lot of matches he will start by throwing the double-fisted dhalsim thing, and you can land those two shots easily).

If Seth is flat on back after your opening move, congrats. If not, you may have to try again.

With Seth on his back, you want to load up on an EX-Focus unblockable move (hold MP+MK). If you time it right, you land it as soon as he gets up. When it hits, Seth goes down again...I pretty much wait for his head to hit the ground, then I charge up the MP+MK buttons again...then it hits when he stands up. Rinse, repeat. If something screws up your pattern of cheapness, then do your best to get him back on the ground, and go for it again.

Here are some notes: DON'T CROWD SETH!! If you are standing right on top of him, the cheap bastage is more likely to throw/dragon punch you when he stands up, killing this strategy. If you are a step or two back (like, the outer limits of sweep range) when you charge up the EX Focus move, Seth doesn't go for the throw or DP...and often tries to throw the dhalsim fists, or a generic shoulder charge.

Again, this won't work all the time. You'll screw up the timing, and it'll take some effort to get him back on his backside...or he'll do the spin-kick/Chun-Li thing and screw up your unblockable. However...it'll work eventually...and as a strategy, it's better than a lot of the other stuff I've read.

If all goes well, Seth can get pretty braindead on the easiest level, and he'll just let you do this to him over and over again. Heck, I even managed a Perfect with Dan.

I managed to beat him with Ken (who I hate despite maining Sakura lol) by doing the whole 1 round 30 sec thing. Since I assume you're fed up with trying with Rose, just jump in, hit once or twice and back away... Key thing is not to do enough damage to give him an Ultra Meter, than just dodge and make sure you have more health. Then you don't have to worry about it again lol

I love Rose. I love using her in any mode. I've got her moves down to a science. She's probably my favorite and best character.

You can't beat Seth on easiest?

My little brother could beat Seth on easiest with a stick.
