Colonel / General ?

I have gone through on hard and then on easy and still no Colonel or General. I have every achievement but those two. Does any one know what needs to be done. I have completed the primary and secondary objectives on each mission (pictures/Letters/and misc barrels). Is it a matter of kills - do I just go through the missions over and over. Thank you for what ever advice you could provide.

Forget I just got it. For any one stuck on this - what I did was start a new new game on easy and then follow the guide that Apple put up and you should get it with in 4 to 6 missions .

My rank says I'm a general but I'm yet to get the achievement.

I'll try your method once I got all the collectibles.
