Strange DLC achievements glitch

Something really weird is happening to me. All of the achievements that was patched onto games are gone. I nocticed this when I was looking at my GTA IV achievements and noticed it said X/50. When it said X/55 just the night the before. WTF I check and see that Mass Effect, Gears 1, Fable 2, and Fallout 3 have all done this. So I clear my updates and fire up GTA IV and it updates again. But when i go to look my achievements it's still X/50! I haven't gotten any of the achievments that are missing but i'm worried that they won't unlock when i do buy them. But the really weird thing is that Halo 3 and Obilvion are just fine. And on xbox.com everything is normal with the correction number of achievements. Any one have this problem or know how to fix it?
