NXE Wallpaper Site

NXE Wallpaper site - click HERE or click in the lower half of my sig.

If anyone has any NXE wallpapers they have designed themselves, I'd be very grateful if you would submit them to the site by using the 'submit' form on the site, or better still by posting them on the forum.

UPDATE: I've now added a tutorials section to the site; if anybody has good photoshop or GIMP skills and would like to write some tutorials on creating NXE Wallpapers using them, I'd appreciate it!

The sites also had a bit of a rejig to make it a bit nicer looking and for it to flow a bit better - see picture below!

Thanks in advance to anyone who helps out, and a big thank you to those who have already helped! Hopefully with more contributions this site can become a great resource!

UPDATE No. 2: I've just added a Facebook page, so fans can follow the site and be alerted of any new wallpaper uploads. It also provides a place to chat and ask any questions you may have. Facebook users feel free to become a fan HERE!

UPDATE No. 3: OK, so I decided to make a twitter account for the site - for those people that maybe don't have a facebook account but do have twitter. The same updates will be 'tweeted' as on the facebook page! Follow NXEW's twitter HERE!

UPDATE No. 4: We now have forums. Feel free to join up to post wallpapers, comment on them or offer site suggestions! Click HERE to check them out!

When i add to my NXE gallery i'll add them to the site aswell. Seen as you have added loads of mine already

Oh and i think you should have a New wallpapers section for the latest additions

That is a good idea - I was actually thinking of doing something along those lines... for now I think I'll try adding a latest updates section to the bottom of the home page with links out to the most recently updated pages (this will probably be A LOT easier to keep up-to-date). Maybe later on I'll have a whole page dedicated to new papers though...

I'd rather it was at the very least cropped or altered in some way from the original. A few of mine I've pieced together myself (eg my Megaman 9 wallpaper), but mostly I crop images to fit the dashboard, or take an existing image, resize it and add, say a logo to it (for example, my Metal Slug Wallpaper).
The image size should be 1920 X 1080 px by the way!

I have cropped/moved alot of mine to work on our 360's.
Most of the image has to be in the top half or you wont see it on your 360

But i also edit alot of the images i find and use, to make wallpapers

Haha, I can give stuff a go if you want. You might be better off asking Deadly Moves though, as his Photoshop skills are clearly far superior to mine!

Really? I'm pretty sure that's what Deadly uses!

I've used Imageshack, so long as you leave the option for compressing the pic unchecked it uploads it real size... you could try that!

I use Photobucket to store all of my images.. including my NXE wallpapers, and it doesnt resize mine.
Maybe there is an option somewhere that you can change to stop it from resizing your large images.

i found out the problem...my file size was 1.2mb i had to make the file smaller and make photobucket upload up too 1mb file. so i got it too work..yippee

Couldn't very easily use the pic you sent because of the dimensions of it, but I did do a couple of Stoya wallpapers for you from other images I found. They can be found HERE. Hope you enjoy...!

Good site. I have noticed tho, that when you go into the L4D wallpapers, and click on NXE L4D Large Logo, it comes up the address on the page instead of the picture.

Thanks for that, the uploaded file wasn't complete or was corrupted, so it wasn't able to load it correctly. I've re-uploaded it so it should all be working now!

It would be nice if we can move this thread to the general 360 section... it would catch more people to see the wallpapers and inspire a few more to make some wallpaper for everyone to enjoy.

Yeah as I said in the first post, I was meant to post in there, but obviously I wasn't paying much attention when I did, cuz BAM there it was in the general off-topic!

I'll PM a mod and ask very nicely if I can get it moved!

Those are really really good. I'm gonna have to push myself to get my new memory stick now (lost the old one) so I can get one of those added to my dashboard

If you have a Ipod,phone/camera with a memory card that can be plug into the usb you could be able to get the wallpaper...and i believe if you got your xbox connect to your pc you can also get the wallpapers.

Yep, if you go to the tutorial on the site, there's a section there for connecting your PC directly to stream media. I haven't written a guide for the section yet, but there's a link there for how to set it all up anyway, so it shouldn't be too difficult!

Considering the themes you have to pay for are little more than wallpapers...these will look great.
