[The Pants Party]

The three achievements for doing all the quests in the game require not only the actual "quests" where you help people out, but also fulfilling the "orders" from every shop in the game. There are missable quests and shop orders, so be sure to read each section's "instructions" for when to complete them before you will lose the chance to do them.

This guide is meant to be done either on your first playthrough, or a future playthrough where you go through with the switch from Faize to Arumat. If you keep Faize, you will not be able to earn this achievement due to orders that require Arumat's IC ability.

General Tips

• Harvesting/Mining: Increasing Reimi's Harvest skill and Bacchus' Mining skill will increase the chance of getting rarer items from search points.
• Monster Drops: Each character has a unique skill that will increase drops from a particular monster type. Some come standard, but some must be learned from skill books which should be available in most towns. Increasing these skills will help get rarer drops from monsters. Check the Monster Collection thread and use the CTRL+F search function (CTRL+Apple on a Mac) to find which monsters will drop the items you need.
• When you arrive in a new town, go to every shop and accept all their orders. Then find all the quest-givers and accept all of those as well. Even if you can't complete the quest for a long time, it is better to have it in your data screen so you don't forget about it. If you get the items needed for the quest, an exclamation point will appear next to it in your Quests log.
• When you arrive in a new town, check their shops for items you may need for orders in a previous town. Sometimes it is easier to simply buy the required items than spending an hour trying to harvest them or get a monster to drop them.

Planet Aeos: Exploration Base

Quest 1: The Missing Patient
-Speak with Airi in the the sickbay, find the patient near the Calnus.

Quest 2: Leg Collector
-Speak with Lilia in the research lab, find Insect Leg x10.

Quest 3: Egg Collector
-Speak with Lilia in the research lab, find Insect Egg x8.


Shop: Alpha (Orders)

• White Rice x3 (Harvest: Lemuris)

Instructions: First off, make sure to buy an Eldarian Bow before leaving Aeos for the first time in the Calnus. You will need it for an order on Lemuris that can be missed because you can't return to Aeos to buy it before the orders in Triom expire. Second, make sure to do all these quests and orders before heading to En II (shortly after Bacchus joins the party) or you will lose them.

Quest 1: The Little Lost Girl
-Speak with the woman in the Thousand Gods store, find the girl near the west exit of town.

Quest 2: The Curious Kitty
-Speak with the little girl from Quest 1, find the kitty in the Van Elm Region.


Shop: Thousand Gods (Orders)

• Shortcake x2 (Item Creation)

Shop: Weapon Shop VIII (Orders)

Planet Lemuris: Woodley (Part 2)

Quest 1: The Stubborn Matriarch
-Speak with a woman at the Inn, find the old lady back in Triom.

Quest 2: Oil for the Cold
-Speak with the old lady from Quest 1, get Wolf Oil x1 from Saber-Toothed Tigers in Wind Swallow Valley.

Quest 3: In Need of Nectar
-Speak with the man in the NW section of town, get Nectar x16 from harvest points on Lemuris or raise your Botany skill and kill Dryad enemies.

Quest 4: In Search of 'Shrooms
-Speak with the same man from Quest 3, find Tasty Mushroom x16 from harvest points or dropped from mushroom enemies.

Quest 5: Fang Flute Fabrication
-Speak with the little girl in the south of town, make Fang Flute.

Quest 6: Further Fang Flute Fabrication
-Same little girl, same item needed.

Instructions: These extra quests appear after the events on the Cardianon Mothership. The Fang Flute requires a party member that you don't have just yet (make two for both quests), the rest can be done as soon as you arrive.


Planet Roak: Tatroi

Quest 1: Missing Brother
-Speak with Fez in the book shop, then find his brother in Tropp on the docks. He can't come back until the quicksand is gone, which is only accomplished by the two "Sand Bird" quests later on, so this will have to wait for now.

Quest 2: The Seafarer's Treasure
-Speak with the hunched man near the steamboat, then find his pendant on the beach, close to the passage back to the Calnus.

Quest 3: Crazy for Grape Juice
-Speak with an old man near the fountain, buy some grape juice from the man in the weapon shop of Tropp and return it.

Quest 4: The Shoddy Doll
-Speak with the dollmaker near the fountain, then deliver the doll to a woman at the Inn of Tropp.

Quest 5: In Search of Anessa
-Speak with the dollmaker after the last quest, then find the girl in Astral near a lamppost NW of the steamboat.

Quest 6: The First Errand
-Speak with Jasmine in her home on the east side, collect Fresh Sage x10.

Quest 7: The Second Errand
-Jasmine again, collect Bee Stinger x9 (kill bees outside town).

Quest 8: The Third Errand
-Jasmine again, collect Wool x13 (purchase in Astral).

Planet Roak: Astral City

Quest 1: Locked Out
-Speak with the shopkeeper near the fountain, get her key from the man outside the pub in Tatroi.

Quest 2: Musical Mending
-Speak with the little girl outside the Inn, then head back to the Calnus to repair her music box with a Repair Kit which you can buy at Tools 'R' Us in Tatroi.

Quest 3: The Latest Beauty Fad
-Speak with the old woman near the fountain, then collect Peryton Droppings x10 from bird enemies.

Quest 4: The Stray Carrot
-Speak with a guard in the castle, then equip Bandit's Gloves and increase your pickpocket skill to 6 or higher to steal the doll from a shirtless man in the pub of Tatroi.

Quest 5: Food Run
-Purchase a Sweet Fruit, then head to the docks on the beach near the Calnus. The quest actually starts and ends with her, but I've put it here to save a trip.

-Speak with the girl on the left in the town square, retrieve the stone at the top of the stairs in the Purgatorium.

Quest 2: Grooming is Essential
-Speak with the other girl in the town square, make the Feathered Comb with Item Creation.

Quest 3: Otherworldly Diet
-Speak with the woman in the eastern section of the town square, make her Otherworldly Cuisine x3 in Item Creation.

Quest 4: The Second Doll
-Once you deliver the doll from the "Shoddy Doll" quest from Tatroi, the recipient will send you back to Tatroi to request a better doll.

Planet Roak: Tropp (Part 2)

Quest 1: New Life, New Clothes
-Speak with the man at the entrance to the city, make him a Traveler's Cloak in Item Creation.

Quest 2: The Mapless Traveler
-Same man, buy a Map of Tatroi from Astral City (buy two total, one for the next quest).

Quest 3: Ruddle Strikes Again
-Same man (now found on the docks), give him your second map.

Quest 4: Rebound Queen
-Same woman from the "Otherworldly Diet" quest, but you must have completed that quest and waited two in-game hours; make her a Pasta Bolognese with Item Creation.

Quest 5: Whodunit?
-Speak with the woman from the doll quest at the Inn, then pickpocket the hooded man in Tatroi's bookstore to get the gem back.

Quest 6: Desert Dilemma
-Speak with the man in the west section of the town square, then kill the Sand Bird south of the oasis in the Astral Desert (Tatroi's section).

Quest 7: The Sand Bird Strikes Back
-Find the same man at the oasis where you killed the bird before and kill it again. (Completing this quest stops the quicksand, allowing you to finish the "Missing Brother" quest from Tatroi.)

Instructions: The second set of quests for Tropp, Astral and Tatroi are available once you have completed the story events in the Purgatorium.


Planet Roak: Tatroi (Part 2)

Quest 1: Where's the Receptionist?
-Speak with the woman on the left outside the Colisseum, then find the receptionist on the second floor of the weapon shop in Astral. Complete the "Sore Throat Soother" quest for her to finish this quest.

Quest 2: Listless Bunny
-Once the Colisseum is open, head downstairs to the bunny raceground and speak with the woman next to the giant bunny; give her a Stamina Pie (which you should have from a chest in Tropp).

Quest 3: Puffy's Debut
-Fight at least once in the Colisseum, then speak with the Mischevious Woman in the mansion of the eastern section of town; head to the Colisseum and speak with the receptionist then throw the fight.

Quest 4: Puffy's Rage
-Go back to the mansion, then back to the Colisseum but this time win the fight.

Quest 5: Puffy's Revenge
-Same deal as the last quest.


Planet Roak: Astral City (Part 2)

Quest 1: Sore Throat Soother
-When you find the receptionist for the "Where's the Receptionist" quest, she'll ask for a Red Herb to cure her mother.

Quest 2: No Way Home
-The man leaning on a lightpost next to the barge wants a Lemon Juice. Make him one in Item Creation.


Planet Roak: Astral City (Part 3)

Quest 1: Ogre Battling
-Speak with Lias in the east section of town, then go kill 30 Desert Ogres in the Astral Desert.

Quest 2: Rumble in the Caves
-After the last quest, Lias asks that you kill the Cave Guardian in the Astral Caves.

Quest 3: A Cherished Bangle
-While working on "Rumble in the Caves," you'll find a man named Lewis who asks you to deliver something to his wife. She lives in the SW house in Astral.

Instructions: Once you fly back to Aeos, you can immediately come back to Roak and these quests will be available.

En II: Centropolis

Quest 1: The Wind Ring
-Find Barago in the Old Road to the Sanctuary, then head to the cemetary in the NW section of Centropolis. Examine the grave where the pink "!" is, then go up the hill to the left and examine the tree.

Quest 2: The Unopenable Chest
-After getting the wind ring from the last quest, find a woman next to an ivy chest on the west side of town. Open the chest with the ring and give her the item.

Quest 3: A Distinguished Rarity
-Speak with a man in the north court, make him a Japonesque Vase in Item Creation.

Quest 4: Guitar Maker
-Speak with a woman in the NW section of the mall, make her a Small Guitar in Item Creation.

Quest 5: Where the Recipe?
-Speak with the woman standing outside her stall in the mall, then pickpocket her husband who is walking around inside the Lab (north of the mall).

Quest 6: The Elusive Female Firefly
-Speak with a researcher in the Laboratory (north section of town) and give her a female Crimson Firefly. It is random if the firefly will be female or not, so collect a full inventory of them before returning (I needed almost a dozen). They can be found in the Cave to the Purgatorium, you have to snatch them out of the air.

En II: Sanctuary

Quest 1: The Trial of Love
-Speak with the red gem, then kill the Early Psynards until you get a Psynard Egg (warning: extremely rare drop!). Take the egg to the Front Desk of the lab in the northern section of Centropolis. He will give you a memo for Growth Stimulant Ampule. Make three of those and return to him to hatch the egg, then take the chick back to the red gem.

Quest 2: The Trial of Courage
-Speak with the blue gem, then survive a four-part fight against some normal enemies.

Quest 3: The Trial of Wisdom
-Speak with the green gem, then find the following three points in order (there will be a sparkling pick up point on the ground): NE section of Lemuris' Thalia Plains (small strip of land in the snow, north of the passage to the Celestial Ship); Middle of Aeos' Southern Reaches (just west of a mining and harvest point); Outside the eastern exit of the Cave to the Purgatorium (at the base of a pillar slightly to the south). Return to the gem after.

Quest 4: The Trial of Might
-Speak with the white gem, then kill a mini-boss.

Instructions: The above quests are available only after killing Kokabiel.


Planet Lemuris: Woodley (Part 3)

Quest 1: A Cherished Keepsake
-Speak with the boy at the Inn, then talk with a cat in the item shop (must have done the lost girl and lost kitty quests in Woodley Part 1) to receive the item.

Quest 2: Wood for the Hearth
-Speak with a woman in the SE section of town, give her Wooden Stick x10.

Quest 3: Lutea's Secret Stone
-You must first find Lutea at the top of Alanaire Citadel and trigger two PAs with Lymle. Then wait two in-game hours and return to her to acquire the task of delivering one each of the following: Salamanderstone, Gnomestone, Sylphstone, Nereidstone, Thorstone, Angelstone and Shadestone.

Instructions: The above quests are actually available earlier but you may as well wait until you land on Nox Obscurus to make use of the teleportation service.


Planet Roak: Tropp (Part 3)

Quest 1: It Came From the Vent
-Speak with Eleyna in her hideout on the beach, then kill the monster blocking the chimney on the cliff above.

Instructions: The above quests are actually available earlier but you may as well wait until you land on Nox Obscurus to make use of the teleportation service.


Planet Roak: Tatroi (Part 2)

Quest 1: The Fourth Errand
-Jasime (remember her?) now wants Intensified Gunpowder x20.

Quest 2: The Fifth Errand
-Jasmine now wants Giant Bird Feathers x12 - and now you're done with her!

Instructions: The above quests are actually available earlier but you may as well wait until you land on Nox Obscurus to make use of the teleportation service.


Nox Obscurus

Quest 1: The Last Letter
-At the end of the Pulsating Bog area (near the save point), a dying man asks you to deliver a letter to his wife. Return to En II to speak with the guy in Monitoring Room A to find she has left En II for Nox Obscurus. Return to the dying man (now dead) and find his wife, also dead. Inspect her body to end the final normal quest of the game.
