Treasure Chest Guide

[The Pants Party]

Many chests in the game will be blocked by various elements. To get these chests you will need the opposite ring to deactivate the barrier, except the Earth ring destroys rocks blocking the brown chests, since those are just stuck behind rock piles, not magically sealed.


Legend:
BROWN = Earth
-The Earth Ring is found in a chest in the Military Facility on the Alternate Earth - BEWARE! This chest is missable.
PURPLE = Dark
-The Light Ring is gained automatically through story progression.
BLUE = Ice
-The Fire Ring is gained automatically through story progression.
GREEN = Ivy
-The Wind Ring is gained by completing the quest "The Wind Ring" in Centropolis.
PINK = Light
-The Darkness Ring is gained by defeating the Undying Dragon from the west portal after beating the game and re-loading your clear save file.
RED = Fire
-The Water Ring is gained from a chest behind Gabriel in the Cave of the Seven Stars (you don't have to kill him, you can walk behind him without triggering the fight to grab the ring).


Missable Locations
Collect all treasure here before leaving! Their names will also appear in RED below. Make sure to have full charged rings when entering any new location so you don't come across a sealed chest and not have any blasts to unseal it.

Tip: Too Many of an Item?
If you open a chest and receive a message that you can't carry anymore of the item inside, open your menu and go to "use item" to find said item. Once you find it in your list, hit the BACK button to drop them one at a time until you have room. Then you can open the chest and collect the contents.
